I'm Doug and You're Dad and Old Fashioned Guy were some of the most memorable sketch comedy skits I've ever seen.I don't think anything on The State was funny. This is pretty much in line with all the stuff they did.
The State was probably the first show that did the type of comedy we see a lot on TV and in movies today. I don't know if it has a label, but it's what Will Farrell and Steve Carrell do most of the time. Just being a strange guy and the jokes are below the surface. The State was the first to do (well, attempt) that.
Just reading this made me laugh hysterically. Can't get the video to load, but I'm sure if I could I would want to dip my balls in it.
Must have been in the second half. The premise wasnt even good from what I witnessed. It had a premise to be potentially funny, but never actually turned the corner and got there.
I bailed at 83 seconds after not laughing once.
some people are going to be a laughing joke no matter what they do. Just like this completely bizarre rant.I'm assuming smoo means terrible? That was my vote. I'll be glad when this beard fad passes. Now I know how people got tattoos 10+ years ago feel. What was once a sign of individualism and dgaf attitude has turned into a laughing joke.
Agreed, at one point it (very briefly) reminded me of "she's a witch".It's kinda like the first half of a Python skit but without some kind of punchline.
