Sometimes.Is it necessary to quote 5 nested 600 word timposts™ to make a one sentence new post?
I think something needs to be done about this. No more than 2 nested quotes, IMO.utsfootdown:

In my opinion it is a bulletin board software problem as it is a complete pain in the ### to quote a post that contains nested quotes and manually delete the nested quotes you don't want or don't need to refer to without it totally jacking up the formatting half the time.

Yep. I often try to remove all the extra stuff in a long string of quotes and it screws it up so bad it's unreadable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

This. Make it easy to delete everything except the post I'm replying to and I'll get rid of them. But this is some screwy software.
