1. Westbrook will get hurt by game 5 and permanantly lose his position to Ryan Moats.

2. LenDale White will win ROY

3. Bush will get a rude awaking in the NFL and bust his 1st season.

(he'll recover season 2 though)

4. Vincent Jackson will lead San Diego in Yards/TD's/Rec's

5. Tavaris Jackson will start in 07 and be a better version of McNabb by 2008

6. Bill Cowher will retire at the end of this season, regardless of record.

7. David Boston will emerge as a top 15 WR

8. Mike Martz will wear a sports braw to support his man boobs

9. Tatum Bell will have 1500 yards and 10+ TDs

10. Troy Williamson will lead his team in Yards/Recs/TDs

11. D-Jax will be the #1 Fantasy Reciever this year

12. The Browns win the SB in 2008

- Ronnie Brown will be next year's number one Fantasy player.

- Michael Vick will have his best season, better than 02'. 3,100 yards, 500 ru. yards and 25 total touchdowns. Continuing on the momentum from last year, in which he averaged 190 yards passing/35 rushing over the past 9 games.

- Philip Rivers out-produces Drew Brees, and it isn't close.

- Ben Watson will be the 2nd best fantasy TE, behind Gates.

- Kellen Winslow Jr. becomes the next Alge Crumpler, grabbing the #3 TE spot with 850 yards and 5 TD.

- Chad Jackson asserts himself as the #2 WR with 700 yards and 4 TD and takes over the #1 spot when Deion Branch goes down in week 15.

- Mewelde Moore beats out Chester Taylor and gets 1,300 total yards for the Vikings, finishing in the Top 10.

- Joe Jurevicious tops 800 yards in receiving and gets 9 TD, finishing inside the Top 15.

Crazy outrageous predictions.

QB: Billy Volek with start out hot, keep the job for the year and be a top 10 QB.

RB: Julius Jones top 5 RB.

WR: Reggie Bush. Over 1000 yards rushing and 500 receiving with 10 TD's. McCallister ACL acting up.

TE: We will be talking about Vernon Davis and Gates in the same breath by this time next year.

Who Knows?

- Mewelde Moore beats out Chester Taylor and gets 1,300 total yards for the Vikings, finishing in the Top 10.
 I must be crazy because I have always held the belief that Moore is capable of usurping Taylor.

I'd call this more of a certainty than conjecture at this point. Taylor has done nothing but get fat and tick off the coaches with his lousy work ethic once he got his signing bonus, so its pretty much Moore's job to lose now.

The Indianapolis Colts will finally overcome their playoff demons and win the Super Bowl.

Nah, what am I thinking? That's just TOO crazy.

Carry on.

Great thread!

Aaron Brooks finishes as a top 3 QB and leads the Oakland Raiders to a division title.

Ronnie Brown wins the rushing title.

The Arizona Cardinals beat out the 49ers in the last two weeks of the season to take the NFC West

In what is supposed to be the toughest division in football, the New York Giants run away with the NFC East.

4. Vincent Jackson will lead San Diego in Yards/TD's/Rec's

9.Tatum Bell will have 1500 yards and 10+ TDs

10. Troy Williamson will lead his team in Yards/Recs/TDs

11. D-Jax will be the #1 Fantasy Reciever this year

Would love to see all of these come to fruiton as I have all of them in one of my leagues

Ahman Green returns to top 8 RB.

David Boston starts for TB by week 4.

Chris Brown not only beats out White, he stays healthy has 1400 yds and signs a huge off season contract.

Randy Moss is #1 WR in football.

1)Brett Favre gets knocked out for the season in the first game. Then Aaron Rodgers proves why he slipped in the draft and the Packers end up with the first pick, they draft Brady Quinn, who had to sit out all season because of him "picking his agent scandel".

2)Reggie Bush will be a bust. Never an amazing player, but will have moments and all the fans will be all over his

3)Steelers will not make the playoffs

4)The Chiefs will also not make the playoffs and LJ will not exceed 1300 yards.

5)Kitna will lead the Lions to 2nd in the NFC North

6)Mike Vick gets hurt 2nd game of the season and Schaub takes over and lead the Falcons to a division title. Thus ends Vick's era in Atlanta and they trade him in the offseason and lock up Schaub to a long term deal.

7)DeShaun Foster gets hurt and DeAngelo Williams is the OROY, Greg Jennings finishes a close 2nd.

8)Ray Lewis will still suck even though the team draft Ngati and will get injured again. Then he will continue to blame other people for his problems. McNair will also get hurt and Boller will step up and lead them to a close 2nd place finish with the Browns in the division.

Derrick Mason has a big year..

Drew Bledsoe has a great year.

Kurt Warner gets the cardinals in the playoffs.

Owens can not keep mouth shut.

Javon Walker has a big impact with denver.

Dolphins win the afc east.

Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning get to the superbowl. This is my longshot.

I don't think a single one of these projections qualifies as "crazy".

Due to a good draft, year-round conditioning programs, and the new CBA, the entire league as a whole finishes slightly over .500 for the first time since 1962.

I have to echo a previous post stating that the Detroit Lions will threaten in the NFC Central.
If by "threaten" you mean "threaten to resemble a football team" then I'm right there with you.

-Green Bay Packers will have the number 1 fantasy defense.

-Ronnie Brown will have 1800 rushing yards but less than 10 TD's.

-Caddilac Williams will have less than 700 rushing yards.

-Chad Johnson will NOT be a top 10 WR.

-Bettis un-retires and starts three games.

-Edge mouths off in Arizona and gets benched one game.

-Eli Manning throws less than 20 TD's.

-Winslow will be the number three TE but will miss the last four games.

-Baltimore reaches the Super Bowl

-LenDale White rushes for over 800 yards in the 2nd half of the season

-Julius Jones rushes for less than 800 yards for the season

-Reuben Droughns goes for over 1400 yards

-Vincent Jackson emerges as a fantasy starter

-Bills give up on Losman and Holcomb, sign Gilbert Brown and run QB sneaks all year

Seattle misses the playoffs;

L. White finishes in the top 5 RB

R. Moss finshes in the top 3 WR

LT goes down for the year in week 2 and Michael Turner finishes in the top 7 RB

Bennett becomes a top 10 WR

Vick is a top 5 QB in terms of Fantasy Points per game

Portis wins rushing title

NYG defeat Pitt in SB

Randy Moss will be back being a top 3 WR

Larry Fitz and Boldin will not live up to their hype with Edge taking away goal line TDs and catches from them

This is a Bears homer list:

Grossman tops 3,400 yards passing and throws 25 Tds with 16 ints

Moose return to form with a 1300 yard, 10 TD season

Des Clark makes good on his predictions and collects 45 catches for 600 yards and 5 TDs

Jones beats Benson to the tun of 750 yards rushing and 250 yards receiving

The Bears win the NFC Championship and lose to the Colts in the superbowl.

Hey, you never know. If they don't work out, they are only crazy predictions. If they do work out, you look like a genius. ;)

I'll mention one player for each main fantasy position.

QB - Kurt Warner returns to his glory days, and finishes the season as a Top 3 fantasy quarterback. He is currently FBG's 20th ranked QB. Edge should take pressure off the passing game, and you can't go wrong with Boldin & Fitz. Also, with McCown now in Detroit, Warner won't have to look over his shoulder. Navarre stinks, and Green really doesn't want Leinart to play this year. Warner will thrive.

RB - By the end of the season, Cedric Benson will have more fantasy points than Larry Johnson. (I said CRAZY PREDICTIONS, didn't I?) I think Benson will get the starting job, he'll keep the starting job, and he'll run like hell over defenses. The Bears don't have the toughest schedule against the run, either. As far as L.J. goes, I keep getting a weird premonition that he's going to get hurt. Nothing more than that. I have no other reason to doubt him. Current FBG projections have Johnson as the #1 RB and Benson as the #31 RB.

WR - Minnesota's Koren Robinson will finish the season as a Top 5 fantasy receiver. He is currently the 42nd ranked WR by the staff. He has a TON of natural ability, his head is finally screwed on straight, and Johnson will get him the ball. Anyone who has heard Koren being interviewed on Sirius NFL radio can't deny how impressive the kid is. He sounds sincerely contrite for his past mistakes, and he is ready to unleash his talent!

TE - Antonio Gates, currently ranked as FBG's #1 tight end, will struggle with Philip Rivers at QB. He will still finish in the Top 10, but mainly due to the fact that most other TEs are pure crap. I see 7 or 8 tight ends having better numbers than Gates when it's all said and done. Let someone else draft him too highly, and grab Witten or Watson a bit later.
I'm feeling a bit nostalgic this morning. :banned:

You're getting better. Good bumps should meet two of these three criteria: interesting, relevant, timely. Great bumps meet all three. Your first bump met none. This one is interesting, but not timely- the time to bump would have been when the predictions came due, which would be after the season, not 6 years later. I also fail to see any relevance to the current landscape. Still, one out of three is an improvement. Who knows, if you continue your temper tantrum, you might even get it right eventually.
