Loved the finale. I was back and forth this season but they nailed it at the end.

Holy crap. I was crying at the Simon schtick. Simply perfect. Charlie is spot on in every single scene of this show. Must be amazingly fun to play this character.Btw, if you're having withdrawal symptoms, hit up YouTube for the bloopers of this show and you'll get an extra 20 minutes or so of fun stuff from the last few seasons.Christmas special was hilarious...Charlie playing Simon had me

Umm I think maybe it was. Previous seasons have all had 12 or 13 episodes and ended before New Year's. That was Episode 13 of this season. Plus I think I remember seeing it advertised as the season finale.

Xmas episode was new for TV, first time aired. was released on the DVD last year.

I feel lucky to have found this show and have enjoyed every episode up until this season, but man this season was just a letdown to me for the most part.However the White Trash episode from this season was one of my all time favorites of any season. - Charlie as he finally calls out Mac for his pseudo-knowledge of karate and back flips. - Determining what makes someone white trash is not knowing backflips or karate. - Charlie demonstrating the deep stance allowed by his jorts- Charlie continually undermining Mac's Catholic prayer for Jamie Nelson with voodoo

However the White Trash episode from this season was one of my all time favorites of any season.
- Charlie as he finally calls out Mac for his pseudo-knowledge of karate and back flips.
- Determining what makes someone white trash is not knowing backflips or karate.

I loved season 1 too, don't get me wrong, but the addition of Frank brought the show up another level in my opinion. At the time I just remember thinking man this show is not nearly as good as the first 4 seasons. Some of you must be some really devoted fans because most seemed to have liked season 6. I guess I just didn't get it.

That episode, The Gang Wrestles for the Troops, The Gang Solves the Mortgage Crisis, The Gang Hits the Road, The Gang Stages an Intervention, and the Flipadelphia episode all probably rank in my top 10-15 favorite episodes. I don't think any other season had as many gems.

You may not have liked it. Not forcing you to like it. I've watched the show from day 1. And instantly fell in love with it. I was afraid it wouldn't make it past a 2nd season but glad it did. I think "Who Pooped the Bed?" was season 4, along with "The Nightman Cometh" and "The Gang Cracks the Liberty Bell" but I gave season 3 the nod over it based on "The Gang Gets Invincible" which may be my favorite episode of them all.ETA : Plus, season 3 gave us "Now come on, you ol' son of a gun, and let Buster do a line off your boner..." which may be the best and most unexpected line in sitcom history.You may not have liked it. My favorite episode is the one when the waitress gets married.

When they set up Charlie's dating profile. And of course the entire scene in the restaurant, from "I'm a full on rapist." to the moment he stabs at her boobs after telling her he got in a fight with some dude in the bathroom over a shirt.

No, I think they only do new seasons in the fall that run through the new year. I'm not aware of any plans for new episodes in the near future.You should still watch FX on Thursday nights at 9 PM Central, though. You won't be disappointed.
