It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (1 Viewer)

I just watched the season ten episode where Charlie has to fool the health inspector. At one point about 2/3 through the movie I turned to my wife and said, "hold on, they're doing a single-shot take, like in Goodfellas. How long have they been doing that?"

That was so absolutely brilliant. It may be my favorite episode in years. It feels like they did the whole second have of the episode in a single shot. Did they?
This reminded me of Frank painted completely black so that he could hide in the dark in the basement and play a recorder to simulate the carbon monoxide detector when the inspector tested it. Awesome.

Mac and Charlie in the strip club before Frank came in was epic, Charlie trying to figure out why Mac would want to be there and then remembering it's because they are back in 2006 and he still pretends to like girls :lmao:

Forgot about that, that was fantastic.

I fell asleep right after this part. But it was fantastic

I enjoyed the episode. Both episodes so far are love letters to long time fans.

However at this point the gags are all based on prior material. That's a touch lazy with the writing.

I agree. I've gotten some great laughs out of the first two episodes as a longtime fan, but I was surprised that they went back to the well with another throwback episode to start off the season. I feel like they have to shake it up next week with some more original material.

How on Earth did that make it past the censors? That episode is going to be 5 minutes long when it repairs on Comedy Central.

Not the best episode but still had some good '80s stuff.

The cum in the sandwich bit seemed almost jarring.

Also, much like Cheers, I find it odd when the bar is not the main set.

Kinda surprised they used Panama by Van Halen during the end credits since licensing their music is reported to be very pricey.

Best episode of the season. This is the Sunny I love fresh ideas and not scared to take chances.

is this referring to a previous episode? I didn't get that part
Yes when it was "2006" episode "Frank falls out the window"

Being 40, this episode hit home!!! Seriously, every Tahoe trip I feel invincible but damn do I miss those bud light evenings with crazy parties. I've yet to conform to this whole hipster, Moscow and over priced aps post session

Interesting find while trying to find the name of the actress from last night for educational purposes:

Tatiana Krumula is a Bulgarian drug distributor and a minor villainess in the 2013 comedy movie The Heat. She is portrayed by actress Kaitlin Olson who played Dennis Reynolds' twin sister Deandra "Dee" Reynolds in the hilarious hit sitcom series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

"You will clean yourself...."

:lmao:

The Dennis-sociopath Shick really works.
She’ll be a fitting reward for me after I win the big race. ‘Til then—Tatiana, I want you to clean yourself. For I will enter you hard, and deep, and it will last for as long or as short as I please. But you will be clean. Only when you are clean will you know my power

That guy was also rag from hard bodies and malachi from children of the corn
McElhenney seemed to almost break character when that dude started flogging it.
Yea, he was about to crack up but he was supposed to be disgusted.

There prob wasn't a better take as the 80s dude is a terrible actor.
