With two more spots reserved for players yet to post their entry, there would have originally been only 6 out of 60 slots remaining. Since there's obviously a ton of interest in this (much more than I had initially imagined, but this is a good thing!) I'm going to man up and raise the maximum number of entries to 75 instead of 60. But there's a catch... more on that in a moment!

Okay, with the raised limit there are now:

21 out of 75 slots still remaining!

Now, to make this more interesting and thrilling than it already is and -- perhaps most importantly -- to keep interest high throughout the entire contest, I'm going to establish a cut-off that will start at the end of Week 10. It will be very similar to the Football Guys Subscriber contest in that if you're below a certain score total each week (again, starting at the end of Week 10) then you'll be eliminated. This way, I won't have to calculate 75 scores each and every week.

There's no need to worry about that now though, as there are still two weeks (this week's questions as well as next weeks for those of you who're arithmetically challenged) for you to hopefully get enough questions correct to be safe. Since the cut-off will start heading into Week 11 and there will be 7 weeks worth of questions left, I'll probably thin the herd by 15% each week or something. I don't know -- we'll see.

Anyway, if you haven't signed up yet then you need to stop procrastinating since there's not many spots left. Once again, good luck to everyone and thanks to everyone whose signed up thus far!

I might have missed this, but what is the scoring system used for Fantasy Points scored?
I knew I forgot something! I'll add this into the original post as well but it's basically the default scoring system that we'll be using. Aka: NON-PPR, 1 point per 10 yards for rushing and receiving, 1 point per 25 yards for passing, 6 points for rushing and receiving touchdowns, 4 points for passing touchdowns, INT's are -1, fumbles are -1 -- pretty much the basic default settings but the most important thing is that it's NOT PPR even though I highly prefer PPR leagues and like them the best. This is essentially the Republican/Democrat debate of the fantasy football landscape, haha. However, if people would much rather we do PPR for the questions than please feel free to let me know. We still have plenty of time left for everyone to change their picks and what-not, but unless you feel very, very strongly about it, it would be a lot easier if we just ran with this current system. But I'm not going to run this like a dictator -- I want it to be as fun as possible for everyone so if anyone has any suggestions, tips or anything for this or any other topic you can think of, please let me know (or PM me).

There's also going to be some IDP questions starting next week and I will post all of the default scoring system values in the post next week.

One quick question, though (to anyone who is still checking this): Would you guys rather me start a new thread for each week's questions like I did for the contest two years ago or would it be easier if I make this one thread the thread for the entire contest so everyone can subscribe to this thread and be alerted whenever I update it? Again, it doesn't matter to me. Whatever is easiest for you all, my lovely, wonderful charges, is best for me. So just ask and you shall receive.

7 out of 75 slots left!

Don't change the scoring after it's already established. I too favor PPR (in fact, that's all I play), but non-PPR is what you did before and you may as well stick with what you started. I would also recommend doing a new thread every week, so we don't have to dig & search for the current place.

Unofficial results lookin' pretty good. :goodposting:
Indeed! I'm just finishing up my game recap that's due for the site soon and then I'll be going through and tallying up the scores. For those of you wondering and waiting for the standings posted, expect them sometime in the early evening.

I actually didn't even realize that the first question is actually dependent on Cedric Benson's rushing performance tonight, so we'll have to wait til tomorrow for the full score tallying and official result standings.

In the meantime, here's the answers to the rest of the questions that were decided -- feel free to tally up how many you've got right so far to get a feel for where you'll be in the standings.

Week 9 Props and Over/Under Answers

1.) Who will have the least rushing yards of the following three RB's this week: Jahvid Best, Cedric Benson or Ronnie Brown? (Still pending)

Dependent on Ced Benson's rushing performance tonight. Although, if you picked Ronnie Brown then you're wrong as he had more rushing yards than Jahvid Best yesterday.

2.) Which of the following teams will have the most special teams points (field goals, safeties, special teams touchdowns, etc.) this week: New England, Miami, Houston or Atlanta? (Note: Defensive points or safeties will NOT count)

Houston was the correct answer thanks primarily to Neil Rackers' three field goals (all of which were worth three points as they were in the 20ish range) and two extra points.

3.) Who will have the most fantasy points of the following TE's this week: Tony Gonzalez, Jacob Tamme, Kellen Winslow or Aaron Hernandez?

Jacob Tamme takes the cake here thanks to his 108 yards and 1 TD (Coincidentally, Tamme and Hernandez both had exactly 16.8 points regularly but Tamme's 5-point bonus for going over the century mark in receiving yards ultimately won the day).

4.) Total points in the New York Jets @ Detroit Lions matchup this week: 43.5 (OVER/UNDER)

Juuuuuuuust UNDER! (43 total points)

5.) Total number of rushing yards by Adrian Peterson against the Cardinals this week: 115.5 (OVER/UNDER)

UNDER (he had 81) but it would have been over if we had counted his total yards from scrimmage (he had 144 total).

6.) Total number of interceptions by Charlie Whitehurst this week against the Giants: 1.5 (OVER/UNDER)

Just OVER (with 2).

7. Chicago Bears @ Buffalo Bills (+5.5)

BUF (+5.5)

8. Indianapolis Colts @ Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)

IND (+3.5)

9. New York Giants @ Seattle Seahawks (+8)

NYG (-8)

10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons (-6.5)

TB (+6.5)
