Many folks here are only showing up as a 6-digit number in the contest standings. Here is a link to possibly change to your screen name (or anything else, for that matter).

Not sure if it works, and not willing to try it, because my screen name does appear in the contest standings. Can someone who is known only as a number try the link and report back?
I tried it but after submitting my nickname it went to a Page Not Found page. ??
Thank you for trying. At least we know it doesn't work anymore now.

Thanks. This might be something @Contest Turk can look at for this year. I do not know if it can be changed.

Did anyone else get zero from their most expensive players?
Trevor, Chase brown, London, Kraft, all didn’t count.
With 6 players costing $15 or more, only JSN counted.
Penix, Bill, boutte, and Fanin carried the day.

My top 4 receivers all didn't count but I still had a decent week thanks to Pearsall, Egbuka & Allen. Fanin wound up my top TE as well. Interesting start to the season to say the least.
The opposite: every single one of my most expensive players counted towards my score this week (Mayfield, Jacobs, Sutton, Kittle, and even Loop). While that sounds good, 1) if Kittle is out for a few weeks, that might kill me, and 2) even with that good scoring from my top guys, I was only at 6227th place in week 1.

Let’s see if I even make my career high of Week 7 or 8 in this contest.
The good thing is place doesn’t matter at all if you’re over the cut. I’m content with being ranked 453 right now but it really doesn’t matter.
oh it matters
Yeah, those points would have been nice in the finals.

Yeah, those are points you need to apply to your week 2 lineup changes.

Still in the contest, but feel like my team is the same as every other year. It is sufficient to get me about 2/3 of the way, but don't have enough firepower to make it to the top 250 and definitely not enough to win. I know it is just wek 1, but man I don't have a good feeling at all this year.

Really felt like everyone was overlooking Cam Ward. I know it was at Denver, but wow.
CJ Stroud seems to be a dud again as well.
Is Geno going to be my only decent QB? I will take 24 each week from him.

Bucky Irving looks to put up good, but not great numbers.
Panthers looked rough, so hoping they put it all together and Chuba gets going.
Denver looked rough, so hoping RJ is just off to a slow start and Dobbins does his usual.

Hoping Odunze turns it around this year, but the team has me worried.

I guess my TEs are better than the ones that got injured and will miss time.

CUT LINE122.60

I love Cam Ward, but I was not about to take a chance on a rookie QB, and here's why. . . .

Statistically, I believe there has only been 1 or 2 first year QBs in the modern age who put up great fantasy points in in their first year.

The transition from college to professional football is tougher than people think for QBs.
He was my third QB, but I had some high hopes for him. Still has time to turn it around, but I often get stuck on players I think will do well. It kills my DFS because I go by my gut way too often

No ties causing a change this week, so UNOFFICIAL future Cut lines, (not counting ties that may affect the final cut numbers):

Start 11139
10% Week 1 Cut to Number – 10026
10% Week 2 cut to Number – 9024
10% Week 3 cut to Number – 8122
20% Week 4 cut to Number – 6498
20% Week 5 cut to Number – 5199
20% Week 6 cut to Number – 4160
20% Week 7 cut to Number – 3328
30% Week 8 cut to Number – 2330

30% Week 10 cut to Number – 1142
30% Week 11 cut to Number – 800
30% Week 12 cut to Number – 560
40% Week 13 cut to Number – 336
40% Week 14 cut to Number – 202 (means the top 23 non-playoff teams this week win a prize)

Notes From Contest Rules:
- In weeks 1--14, the cut is based on scores from the current week only. Scores reset each week.

- Specifically, the cut will be determined as in the following example. Suppose it is week 7 and there are 2,394 entries at the beginning of the week. Because the cut percentage is 20% for that week, 2394 will be multiplied by 0.80 and the resulting number, if not an integer, will be rounded UP to the next greatest integer. In this case, 2394 * 0.8 = 1915.2. We round up to 1916. The entry with the 1916th-highest score, and all entries with an equal or greater score, will move to the next round.

- if fewer than 225 participants remain after week 14, then prizes will be awarded to eliminated participants according to highest score in week 14. If prizes are still unawarded after that, then highest score in week 13, and so on.

All roosters except 18 beat the survival rate.

Survival rate for ALL teams: 93.27 percent
Survival rate for teams with these players: 90.33 percent

98.68% for the 29 man roosters.

@Contest Turk , @Joe Bryant , @TheWinz ,@BassNBrew

There must be some issue with the querier, because it shows 10,428 teams surviving week 1, rather than 10,026.
I've been scratching my head the last 20 minutes trying to figure out if I am missing something. First I thought I did something wrong, but after checking further, it doesn't look like I did.

If you query each individual team size (like I do every week when updating my survival rate spreadsheet), and then add together all the "dead team" amounts from each team size, it only adds up to 752 teams eliminated in week1.

Yet, the standings show only 10,026 surviving teams, which is correct.

Below is a screen grab from the querier... asking to show ALL SURVIVING TEAMS between $1 and $250, containing between 18 and 30 players:

I think I figured it out ❗ Every team in the standings that is above the next to last cut line ( 122.60 ) is showing that it survived the final cut.
Their point total is in red text but if you click on their team name, it shows that they survived.

So it shows 10,388 teams surviving the cut, which is the same number of teams that are above the previous cut line prior to Monday night's game.

This means there are 362 teams that missed the cut.... but when they check their team status, it will likely show that they survived the cut.

I am seriously sweating the turk, I'm only at 114.75 after SNF with only these bullets left:

Mason (-11.30)
DJ Moore (-10.10)
Santos (-7.60)

Could be my first ever week 1 departure...
So sorry
Yup I'm out, man that stings!!
You did not have a bad squad at all. It was just a bad week for you... which came on wk 1. I bet by week 3, when teams knock the rust off, this squad will be rollin'.

Wow! Pretty bad when a $4 kicker gets cut after one game. (Reminds me of the Rodrigo Blankenship fiasco )

The 49ers just waived PK Jake Moody after a missed and a blocked kick this weekend.

$4 wasted by the 725 Moody owners that are still alive.

They are bringing in Eddy Piniero for a tryout at PK.

-----------------------------------------------

Also... PK Younghoe Koo is apparently also on thin ice in Atlanta.

The Falcons are bringing in Parker Romo to compete with him, and will determine which of the two kickers will be kicking this weekend.

1,805 surviving Koo owners might be short a kicker starting this weekend. Koo was also a $4 kicker

Solid. All 3 of my TEs counted for me this week, which is the first time that’s ever happened for me. Unfortunately, I’m one of those that is losing Kittle for 4+ weeks. Come on Warren and Fannin!

So far I regret not getting Boutte on there. Had Kyle Williams a million times. Weird to have totally missed any camp news on who was doing well in NE.

up until a couple days before the deadline, it was being reported that starters would be diggs/douglas/hollins but then boutte was identified as WR3.

There were some really attractive $2 and $3 WRs this year . I was watching lots of them during camp and was surprised at how well many of them were doing. I ended up with 4 of the $2 guys and Franklin for $3 in Denver, but it was actually very difficult narrowing the $2 guys down to just 4. I also wanted Turpin in Dallas, but I left him off because he's mainly a special teams guy and I figured he'd get less touches on offense than the other choices. If kickoff and punt return TDs counted in this contest, he would have been a better value. I also had Coker for $3 up until his injury at the end of camp. He was an absolute steal after the Panthers traded away Thielen.

I had Dotson and Boutte on my roster from the start, and added Ayomanor and Westbrook-Ikhine over the course of camp, opting for him over Turpin. Boutte was impressing everyone for nearly the entire camp, and I was watching the competition between him and Kyle Williams to make sure I picked the right guy. Dotson was named early in camp as one of Hurts' favorite targets, and that never changed throughout camp, according to the reports.

It will be interesting to see if these guys keep performing though the season, but the early results are really encouraging. If you hit on one or two of these guys, it goes a long way toward filling some holes when the pricier players have their off days.

Above are the players in tonight's game, not my players, hahaha

Boutte didn't make my 14-WR roster. If we didn't have the 30-player cap he would've made it - I was thinking cut Pearsall for Boutte, Turpin, Westbrook-Ikhine, Noah Brown, and another defense. Or maybe keep Pearsall and downgrade at QB instead.
QB - Josh Allen - BUF/7 - $26
QB - Justin Herbert - LAC/12 - $15

I stuck with this roster, so I'm badge eligible.

Roster: 30 for $250 (my 2015-2024 avg: 28.9 for $250) (avg across everyone's entries in last year's contest: 19.9 for $250)

I like big rosters with a bunch of cheap contributors who have a chance to produce each week, which also include a few top players who can have huge games and a huge season.

WR: 14 for $84 (my avg: 9.2 for $85) (last year's contest avg: 5.6 for $88)
Matthew Golden - GB/5 - $12
Ricky Pearsall - SF/14 - $11
Emeka Egbuka - TB/9 - $10
Rashid Shaheed - NO/11 - $8
Jayden Higgins - HOU/6 - $7
Joshua Palmer - BUF/7 - $7
Brandon Aiyuk - SF/14 - $6
Marquise Brown - KC/10 - $6
Keenan Allen - LAC/12 - $5
Jalen Coker - CAR/14 - $3
Troy Franklin - DEN/12 - $3
Elic Ayomanor - TEN/10 - $2
Pat Bryant - DEN/12 - $2
Kyle Williams - NE/14 - $2
WR is where the value was at this year. I got 14; woulda had more if the roster wasn't capped at 30. Most of them even come with some upside, either as potential breakouts (6 rookies and 3 second-year players) or bounceback candidates (3 vets who have previously been a fantasy WR2 or better). Some people might think that 14 WRs is overkill, but I think that overdoing it at a position is more about dollars than number of players. The rest of my roster still had 16 slots and $166 to work with, and for WR production I like this group of 14 more than most ways of spending $84 at WR.

TE: 3 for $41 (my avg: 4.0 for $42) (last year's contest avg: 2.4 for $29)
Trey McBride - ARI/8 - $30
Mason Taylor - NYJ/9 - $7
Harold Fannin Jr. - CLE/9 - $4
All the great WR values made it tricky to get an elite WR without either overspending at WR or passing up a bunch of the cheaper WR values, so I got elite players at the other positions instead. McBride is joined by two value-ish rookie TEs who fit in pretty well with my WRs (though the WRs I got with similar profiles cost about a dollar less).

QB: 2 for $41 (my avg: 2.8 for $28) (last year's contest avg: 2.5 for $40)
Josh Allen - BUF/7 - $26
Justin Herbert - LAC/12 - $15
My QBs & stacks was the hardest part to figure out. I tried to talk myself into stacking my top receiving option by taking Kyler Murray, or Geno Smith with a pivot to Bowers, but I couldn't convince myself to rely on either of those guys. Eventually settled on the guy who I consider the favorite to lead all QBs in scoring, and my favorite of the mid-range QBs, both lightly stacked. For a while I had been thinking I'd take two mid-range QBs (maybe Herbert plus Stroud, Lawrence, or Fields), but I wanted to add elite talent somewhere and it is nice to have an elite QB when you're only rolling with two.

RB: 5 for $65 (my avg: 5.1 for $74) (last year's contest avg: 5.2 for $74)
Saquon Barkley - PHI/9 - $36
Jordan Mason - MIN/6 - $11
Bhayshul Tuten - JAX/8 - $8
Jacory Croskey-Merritt - WAS/12 - $6
Kendre Miller - NO/11 - $4
At RB I went with 1 stud and 4 cheapish guys who will hopefully combine somehow to be a solid RB2 and some depth. I considered getting a second stud, or a mid-range guy like Hampton or Henderson, before settling on this configuration. Last year I went with more cheapish guys, but last year's pricing was different - guys like Marks or Tahj Brooks were $2-$3 instead of $4-$5.

PK: 3 for $10 (my avg: 3.6 for $9) (last year's contest avg: 2.1 for $10)
Chris Boswell - PIT/5 - $4
Blake Grupe - NO/11 - $3
Cairo Santos - CHI/5 - $3
Three cheap ones. Spent an extra dollar on Boswell because there weren't enough $3 options with good job security.

DEF: 3 for $9 (my avg: 4.2 for $11) (last year's contest avg: 2.1 for $10)
New Orleans Saints - NO/11 - $3
Atlanta Falcons - ATL/5 - $3
Jacksonville Jaguars - JAX/8 - $3
Three cheap ones. Week 15-17 opponents include TEN, NYJ (2x), IND, and CAR.
Off to a good start, with 195.4 points week 1 (tied for 40th overall) and Justin Herbert on my bench.

All 3 of my studs looked good (Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Trey McBride), though only Allen had a huge game.

Good games from several other players (Justin Herbert, Bill Croskey-Merritt, Emeka Egbuka, Marquise Brown, Keenan Allen, Harold Fannin) which are also good signs for them going forward. Though some of these guys are highly owned so not helping me that much against the field.

Good signs about role/workload for some other guys even if they didn't have great wk1 production: Jordan Mason, Elic Ayomanor, Troy Franklin. Also the Bigsby trade is good news for Tuten.

Negatives:
Some other guys barely played (Pat Bryant, Kyle Williams) or had roles that were smaller than I'd hoped for (Matthew Golden, Jayden Higgins, Mason Taylor, Kendre Miller). But that comes with the territory when you have a big roster with lots of cheap players, and they're mostly rookies so there's still hope that their roles will grow.

I do wish I'd found room for Kayshon Boutte & KaVontae Turpin for $2 each. If we didn't have the 30-player cap I probably would have (I think I would've broken up Pearsall into 4 $2 WRs and another defense).

I live less than an hour from Lambeau Field and have been following the Packers since Bart Starr was QB and Boyd Dowler and Carrol Dale were his receivers. I fell victim to the Matthew Golden hype, and broke my cardinal rule this year which is, "Never draft a WR on a team coached by Matt LaFleur!" Nobody to blame but myself! 👿

It's awesome to have your 1st round WR in for about 8 snaps... NOT!!

Still says page not found.

I'm going to assume his usage will ramp up to 100% snaps by week 4. ***/u/me.
