It's Time For A White Privilege Equality Tax (1 Viewer)

So we agree you don't actually know what you are talking about?
I know more than a guy who won't wear a condom because he believes that withdrawal is an effective means of birth control.

And I also know more about professionalism than someone who thinks Panera Bread is a good place to interview prospective employees.

I'll put it this way if I have two applicants scheduled for interviews every day.

Lets call them Laquisha Williams and Sandra Helms

i can predict which will be late and/or blow off the interview completely with much better accuracy than any analyst on NFL tonight
for the love of christ, shut up

I ain't got no kids

And it's a large enough sample size for your economists

Shocking that a white conservative would say this. For a different perspective, the below an opinion piece by an African American woman. I will just give the 7 point talking points, but she elaborates in detail to support each of these if anyone wishes to read the entire article at the link:

7 Actual Facts That Prove White Privilege Exists in America

1. You are less likely to be arrested.

2. You are more likely to get into college.

3. You are more likely to "fit in" and get called back for a job.

4. You are less likely to be perceived as a "thug."

5. You are less likely to be labeled "angry."

6. You are more likely to make headlines when missing.

7. You are more likely to find adequate housing.
And who's fault is all of that. Nothing like taking some personal responsibility.

In all seriousness I'm trying to be helpful to the issue at hand because all I do is interview people for jobs.

Im just stating the facts as well and my conclusions are based on experience.

Averaging 15-30 interviews a week for 25 months.

The experiences with many different workers forms my expectations.

I know it's not always right and I live with that ambivalence every day but the ball don't lie.

An unscrupulous white man may feel entitled to extend his "privilege" once he is officially paying for it.

Just saying.

It's not a matter of taking personal responsibility.  Folks who fall into one minority category or another really do experience little differences in life that you and I don't have to deal with.  For example, a colleague of mine is a native American, and happens to be fairly dark-skinned.  He is frequently seen as "Mexican" which begets its own condescending comments.  He has a sense of humor about this, but it understandably wears on other people.

To be a little more clear, I'm talking about comments that are intended to be friendly.  The guy goes to restaurants and the waitress offers to bring salsa with his meal.  He politely declines, and she presses on about how good their salsa is and how much he'd like it.  Stuff like that.  Nobody is burning crosses in the guy's yard.  It's just little things like this that pile up over time and remind a person that they don't really fit in.

Does he have a mustache?

Yes, I knew it was just a matter of time before someone blamed those uppity black people, who have the audacity to think there is such a thing as white privilege.
I'm not saying that WP doesn't exist but it not as widespread as it's made out to be.

IMO

If some guy told her he'd pay her $200 million to come out of retirement for one video, Jenna Haze would make a comeback. That's all I'm saying.
