Anyone have any thoughts or insight on how long Addai will be the guy in Indy?
Considering how young he is it seems like 3-5 years shouldn't be unreasonable. I also don't know anything about his contract status and can't seem to find it.
Looking at the roster, they are going to at least have to add a good backup in the near future. If you look at their history, Indy likes to add rookie RBs not veterans. Considering how much money they need to use elsewhere and their history, I dont see them bringing in a veteran. So if they continue that route and continue to win they wont have any high first round draft picks to pick up a guy like AD without tradeing up. I can see them picking another RB in the first couple rounds next year but it would only be a player who might compete or share with Addai. That's pretty good job security for a back like Addai who isnt a true superstar.
Superstars are made in the NFL....NOT COLLEGE.Kevin Jones was considered a superstar coming out of college...he's crap in the NFL.Emmitt Smith, Terrell Davis, etc. were not considered superstars coming out of college, but in the NFL they were SUPSERSTARS.Addau will be an NFL superstar.CHESTNUT OUT!

You are wrong. If you saw how Joseph Addai played in the regular season and especially in the postseason I'd say that he's well on his way to being a superstar if he isn't already.
