J.J.Nelson-going forward. (1 Viewer)

FWIW - Stefania (sp?) Bell on FFN expects JJ to play. I'm plugging him in over Diggs as I am kind of in a "swing for the fences" mode after facing Gurley Thursday night.

Jermaine Gresham (ribs) is also active.  Nelson was limited all week in practice but is ready to roll as the No. 2 receiver with John Brown (quad) still out.

Per Rotoworld

Well i played him mostly b/c my only other option was Sterling Shepherd who did nothing in week 2 and there's no way he would score any points.

I hardly saw him out there. Going to have to check the splits. Saw Golden and Brown A LOT more. Especially in the redzone

He was hobbled with a hamstring, so that could be a big part of the problem.  I'll have to look to see how many snaps he played. I think he had 3 targets, but it seemed like he was hardly on the field when I was looking for him in-game

Just wanted to update now with Antonio Brown going mental, the Raiders official depth chart lists J.J. Nelson as the WR1 playing the X position. At the very least, he's playing a ton of starting snaps in a hybrid gadget role.

It's difficult to be inspired by JJ but he's going.to get a shot. It's not like he's been fighting for reps because AB never practiced.
