J Stew and F Jackson Straight Up Dropped (1 Viewer)

So, one of my leagues is a shallow bench (4 bench spots for 13 starters) PPR league. I think bench is too shallow, but it does create for some interesting waiver action and ends up playing into strategy through the year. In any event, one owner this week straight up dropped J. Stew and another straight up dropped Fred Jackson. In this league, RBs have less value than more "standard" leagues (both on a points per game basis and b/c of the need to play so many other players). Still, both of those guys seem like value propositions moving forward -- J Stew may be on the upswing with an offense that seems to have found some legs, and especially if DeAngelo is out for any length of time. Jackson is clearly the guy in a decent, though pass-first-and-last offense. Any thoughts on these guys seasons moving forward?

You nailed. But DWill is day-to-day and still the starter.

This made me chuckle because the Jackson owner dropped him in my league last week and if I wanted to pick him up this week I'd have to drop Stewart for him.

In any event, if you're ever going to go after Stewart now's the time. Williams has a foot injury and even if he plays you have to wonder if he'll be limited at all by it. Stewart looks real sluggish so far but he has a nice slate of games coming up so if Moore can inject some life into the offense and the Panthers can get back to running more effectively Stewart's value should rise.

As far as Jackson, I really like him but I'm baffled as to why they're not using him more in the passing game. That was a real strength of his last season. On the bright side, he's getting plenty of touches (24 in Week 7) and if Fitzgerald is legit that certainly won't hurt. It's pretty clear they want to hold off on giving Spiller too much to do this season so Jackson should be a lock for 15-20 touches most weeks.

I guess this about the time people get fed up. A guy dropped Shonn Greene in ours last week. Grabbed him off the Waiver heap this week. We'll see what happens.

I have Donald Brown but JStew is available. I'm torn here on who to go for. They both seem to have similar value going forward, especially with Addai's nerve damage.

Deangelo missed practice today and seems to be looking iffy for Sunday. Would definitely not drop Stewart now, and if he's out there, get him.

J Stew was dropped in one of my leagues too before last week. I own Dwill but have the best record with the most points and was last on the waiver wire (I hate that kind of waiver wire, penalize the best team every week) and the guy 2 spots before me picked him up.Now of course the following week Dwill gets hurt, I have Hillis and Bradshaw both on bye with S. Jackson starting. Soooo, with D.Williams looking like a no go, I had to pick up freaking D. Ward from Houston against the Colts. Cadillac Williams was the only other guy worth picking up potentially as he was dropped this week, but I'm going with Ward who's got 3 Td's in a row, game against Indy should be relatively high scoring and Indy in certain games can REALLY give up run yardage.....just might not be to Ward. Give me 30 yards and a TD and I'll be a happy man D. Ward.

Can we please move this out of the Shark Pool already? This thread has no general Fantasy information and we have gotten to the point where people are listing who their kickers are. This is the definition of league specific.
