Fantasy Gold Game of The Week.
Start all your Fins and Jags.
Neither defense is bad,but it's week one,starters aren't in 60 minute game shape yet.
The South Florida heat will take it's toll.
Both offenses will thrive,especially in the second half.
Fasten your seat belts,it's going to be a wild ride...

Flying Fins- 44
Jumpin' Jags- 40
 
Phins have the Bills coming into town on Thursday Night so they might be inclined to use all 3 RBs in this game.
I expect for Smith at TE to get a few folks' attention. Nobody has really looked like a mini Kittle in this offense.

I expect to see a lot of Etienne and Kirk along with Brian Thomas, but I'm not sure it's quite as high scoring as some think

Excited to see Miami's revamped Defense and Secondary
 
The Canes are playing FAMU on the field right now. I hope the field is in good shape. They've done this before ... Canes on a Saturday, Dolphins on a Sunday.

Cam Ward playing his way into 1st round consideration. Rueben Bain Jr. looks like a 2026 1st rounder. Some serious talent on the Canes, via the portal and recruits.
 
I might be in the minority here, but I think the Dolphins win this one with relative ease. Just don't really think the Jags are good. I think the Dolphins secondary gives Lawrence fits, and the Dolphins O takes Etienne somewhat out of the game.

The Jags should get some pressure on Tua, but they can't cover Hill/Waddle, and Achane likely hits at least 1 long play. Bold call, Waddle is the guy to have in this game.

I'll say Dolphins and the under.
 
Highs in the low 90s, humidity ~70%, heat indices in the 105-110 range for a 1pm game. Jacksonville ain't Buffalo, so no advantage for Miami. Slight chance of a brief passing shower.

BTW, BUF will be in town Thursday night. The expected heat index at 8pm will be 101.

Also looking forward to see what Weaver can do with our Defense. Loving Wright and our new TE so far.

And once again, for the 40th+ time - worried about our Oline.

Hill arrested and released at the Stadium
Pulled over for speeding at the Stadium
Altercation with the officer that pulled him over and was put in cuffs
 
Thought it was a joke. It isn't. Video poster online. Never a good look when your on the ground being cuffed with a handful of officers. Bad optics I guess. He's proven he isn't the guy u want your daughter to date, but man can he play football. Ha ha
 
Crazy video. Cuffed and taken to the ground for a traffic violation.

Would love to know what Hill said to the officers to have that happen.

Any other person would be brought to the station and released in like 8-10 hours. Oh wait - MIA has a game so we can't do that. Guy needs to focus on what matters and don't be a D driver or to cops.
 
Would've been a tough catch for Berrios. But he doesn't get separation any more. I was expecting some Jonnu on that drive.

And he might as well have just let Thomas score because it set them up on the 1 yd line
What a joke extending him, thought for sure he would be gone after this year or they would figure out they can't afford him
Instead make him the highest paid DB in the league
Grier really looking out for the Phins on that one
 
Tua not a single impactful throw yet
-Missed a wide open Hill for a TD, that's a FACT!

Tua had not hit a WR on any meaningful pass in the 1st Q, most of the throws were behind the LOS which I blame the Head Coach for that
 
Harlan: "Armstead overpowers Eicheberg". What does Grier see that we don't? The non-sexy draft pick was Graham Barton, instead of Chop. He can play C or G, even tackle. He's getting rave reviews in TB.
