**Jaguars at Colts**(-3.5, 45) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

A battle of who wants it less. Unfortunately for the Jags fans, they've been playing hard these last few weeks, completely sabotaging the #1 pick that should have been theirs. I wonder if Pederson ends up saving his job with a win, and the Lawrence (Engram and Kirk) excuse.

With Flacco starting Josh Downs should tear apart this defense. Jags are likely to have no pass rush with Josh Hines-Allen.

For the Jags, I think this is the Brian Thomas show, I think there is a real chance he's WR1 for the week, especially if the Colts DBs play anything like last week, where they made Drew Lock look like Joe Burrow.

Jaguars-24
Colts-21

Colts showed they were playoff pretenders last week giving up a plethora of points to one of the worst offenses in the league
Jags have been showing they are playoff pretenders all year
Somebody gonna win this game
Or are they?

Pretending Jags- 20
Pretending Colts- 20

Mac Jones, Year 4 of his rookie deal
What do you think happens to him after the season? Jax won't be able to bring him back on the cheap is my guess
Jones isn't likely to get much more than maybe a Sam Darnold 1 year deal, is that still a high number? ($10M/1Yr)
Curious what you see happening to him

Is there a worse name than offensive coordinator for the Colts, Jim Bob Cooter? Is he from Harlan county Kentucky? Sounds like a name from the show “Justified”. I can say this because I grew up in that area.

So many variables with new football people (hopefully) coming in. When Mac was signed this offseason, the thought was that had he been the Jags backup last year, maybe they would have won some of the games they lost when Trevor was hurt, and would have made the playoffs.

But in 2025, when Trevor has been hurt, Mac has been 2-0 vs. the Titans and 0-5 vs. the rest of the league. So he really hasn't met expectations.

He's making $2.8 on this one year deal....that's Mason Rudolph, Cooper Rush, Tyrod Taylor money.

Did his performance this year warrant teams wanting to sign him to Andy Dalton, Brissett, Darnold money? IDK

He is back in his hometown, which he seems to like. But I don't think this franchise pays him any more to stay

Anyone see what happened with the Washington TD? MFL not scoring it as a TD for him because of a fumble/recovery...? TIA

So he fumbled and then ran it in? ESPN oddly has it as a rec TD but also shows this in the play by play: M.Jones pass short right to P.Washington to IND 1 for 8 yards (Z.Franklin). FUMBLES (Z.Franklin), and recovers at IND 1. P.Washington for 1 yard, TOUCHDOWN.The Replay Official reviewed the runner was down by contact ruling, and the play was Upheld. The ruling on the field stands.
