They looked good against us. It wasn’t all Carter, but losing Carter was big, especially as young as the Defense is and how many new starters/players they have. By Week 5, we’ll know where this defense stands. And we’ll have an idea of how good Dallas is, too.

They did look good tonight, not taking anything away from them. But I’m not ready to annoint them, yet.

Well Lamb probably left 60 yards on the field in drops. I strongly suspect Brown is still hurt and was just used as a decoy. Je didn't play in the preseason at all.

I bet we watched the same game. I think it's reasonable to say the Eagles were fortunate. It's not a particularly unusual opinion.

My biggest takeaway is you guys don't look to be as good as last season or we're a helluva lot better. I'm almost certain of the latter...we'll see about the former.

Lots to be determined yet, but I really like a lot of the moves we've made this offseason, including the Micah trade. I might have to start wearing some shades in a year or two.

Losing Carter really hurt Philly. The guy never comes off the field and is irreplaceable. Dak in his press conference said once he went out, they changed the blocking scheme which was focused on him. It was a huge loss for Philly. Fangio began to counter with more guys rushing after Dallas carved the secondary up in the first half so they didn't have to cover as long. With Carter back in the fold, assuming he doesn't get any additional games Fangio can go back to the 4 man rush scheme. I expect the Philly pass rush to get more pressure with less guys but I am concerned with the CB2 spot. Jackson gives me James Bradberry 2023 vibes.

After the weather delay, both offenses looked out of rhythm. Had the delay not happened, both teams probably score in 30s.

Tough to take much away from this game when analyzing any of the units. Too many strange things that don't normally occur in a normal game happened. Plus it's week 1 which is usually the crazy week in the NFL. I reserve judgement until I see the Eagles D play with Carter. Eagles O went TD, TD, TD, FG and pretty much had their way with the Dallas D and then the weather delay happened. After that neither offense did much.
