From terry Pluto, Clevaland Plain Dealer Browns beat reporter:

"1. Unless I completely misread the situation, the talk about Jake Delhomme practicing and possibly playing this week comes down to two things: A.) Coach Eric Mangini likes to keep the opposition guessing and B.) The Browns want to see if Delhomme's ankle is healthy enough for him to be the No. 2 quarterback, which means he would have to be able to play if Seneca Wallace gets hurt."
