You better be specific what you mean because if you mean you had better be stacked at other positions I can understand your logic but you can win a championship as Delhomme being your starting QB and not really have that strong of depth beyond him.My thought is that he's a solid QB2, but you'd better be stacked elsewhere if you're counting on him to be your QB1.
Kitna>VY>JakeJake is only good in FF because he's got Steve Smith. Otherwise he'd be on the WW with Jason Campbell and T. Jackson.where would you put delhomme's value compared to the likes of kitna or maybe V young?
Kitna>Delhomme>VYAs long as Delhomme has a healthy o-line and Smith, there is no reason to think he can't put up really good numbers. VY is still learning to throw to his WRs. The fact that he doesn't have legit threats only hurts him that much more. Kitna has a bad defense and really good weapons. He'll be chucking the ball early and often to stay in games...where would you put delhomme's value compared to the likes of kitna or maybe V young?
Who cares? Fact is, he does have Smith, and he gets the ball to him.Jake is only good in FF because he's got Steve Smith. Otherwise he'd be on the WW with Jason Campbell and T. Jackson.
he won't kill you, but, he's not very good, either..he's an average QB..What are your thoughts on Jake Delhomme this season? He had a pretty huge week one with 201 yards and 3 passing TDs. Think he could throw 27-28 TDs this year?
And baby that's all I need to win the championship!he won't kill you, but, he's not very good, either..he's an average QB..What are your thoughts on Jake Delhomme this season? He had a pretty huge week one with 201 yards and 3 passing TDs. Think he could throw 27-28 TDs this year?
Isn't this site about FF? Delhomme was good in FF when Smith was out with a broken leg, and his main target was Muhammad.Jake is only good in FF because he's got Steve Smith. Otherwise he'd be on the WW with Jason Campbell and T. Jackson.
Not at all surprised - still think 27-28 is a ceiling and wouldn't hold my breath on it, but he's a solid QB to have. lol @ the "Carr will take over by Week X" people. He's fine. What are your thoughts on Jake Delhomme this season? He had a pretty huge week one with 201 yards and 3 passing TDs. Think he could throw 27-28 TDs this year?
What I mean is that if Delhomme is your QB1 in a start-1 league, then you should expect to be outscored at the QB position most weeks. Easily 6, and comfortably 10 QBs will put up weekly average PPGs that will exceed Delhomme's.Therefore you need to be stacked at other spots, with guys that will normally be outscoring your opponents at their respective positions, if you want to win with Delhomme as your starting QB.You better be specific what you mean because if you mean you had better be stacked at other positions I can understand your logic but you can win a championship as Delhomme being your starting QB and not really have that strong of depth beyond him.My thought is that he's a solid QB2, but you'd better be stacked elsewhere if you're counting on him to be your QB1.
And if you take away 24 of Ladanian Tomlinson's TD's last year, he had a sub par season.Finless said:If you take away 2 of those 3 touchdowns and 40 yards, his game was sub par.
Ya but if you take away Steve Smith...And if you take away 24 of Ladanian Tomlinson's TD's last year, he had a sub par season.Finless said:If you take away 2 of those 3 touchdowns and 40 yards, his game was sub par.You can't take them away....risky logic.
