JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- For the second year in a row, the Jacksonville Jaguars' first-round draft pick went down with a knee injury during rookie minicamp, but the injury that cornerback Jalen Ramsey suffered isn't as serious as the one that cost defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. his 2015 season.
The Jaguars said Ramsey suffered a small tear to the meniscus in his right knee during rookie minicamp May 6-7. The Jaguars begin organized team activities Monday.
A source told ESPN.com's Dan Graziano that Ramsey is being told there are two possible courses of surgical treatment -- one that would keep him out four to six weeks, one that would keep him out four to six months.
Ramsey will seek a second opinion next week, which will help him determine which course of action to pursue.
