From the blogger:

For the Ravens, three key starters are questionable and did not practice today: tight end Todd Heap (back), tailback Jamal Lewis (foot) and linebacker Adalius Thomas (ankle). All three are expected to play.
What gives? "Expected to play" doesn't give me a lot of comfort when it also says "didn't practice" and "questionable".

From a couple of things I saw he missed portions of practice, not all of practice and he is expected to play. I would say they are just being cautious since its a short week and all but who knows. I have both Jamal and Rudi tonight. Im hoping for the best with Jamal.

If he is expected to play I would not be horribly worried. A lot of running backs miss practice this time of year and are listed as questionable on the injury report. Certainly pay close attention to the news today, but I would not sweat it too much.

He appeared to be running as well as he has in years in the 1st half Sunday considering it was vs. the Steelers. He didn't see much action in the 2nd half. Was this due to injury or due to the fact that the outcome of the game was pretty much decided and they wanted him to rest for the short week? If there was an injury during the Pitt game, it didn't show. I'm wondering whether this is for Marvin's benefit since I would think the Ravens best chance of victory tonight would be to run the Bengals right out their own building.

After a first half in which running back Jamal Lewis rushed for 61 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown, Lewis ran the ball just four times for 5 yards in the second frame.

Lewis said he had no complaints with the cut in playing time because of Thursday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

"That was just us getting prepared for Thursday's game," Lewis said. "I didn't really have to do anything else. We were up by a great amount of points. We have a short week coming up, and that was really just looking ahead."

It was a short week....if he did or was going to miss portions of practice, he has to be on the injury report. He's fine....there was just no sense in him running late into the game last week with a short week this week. I'm sure he sees at least 25 touches this week, especially if the weather is bad.

Billick took starters out of the Pittsburgh game on Offense and Defense because of the short week.
