James Jones week 6 (1 Viewer)

With Jennings declared out, where do you rank Jones this week going against the Texans? He's been consistently targeted, 6 and 7 the last two weeks, and of course scored twice in each of the last two games. How would you rank JJ this week?

Truthfully it doesn't matter what his ranking is. He is Rodgers' go to redzone target. You start him unless you have elite WRs.

I have both Jones and Jordy Nelson. I know if I start Jones, Nelson will finally click. The fantasy gods are cruel.
There's a solution to that.
Unless you have another top 5 WR and can only start two.
In this league, Roddy White is my other reg WR. I also start a wr/te Flex which is currently Decker. 1 pt PPR. So it comes down to Decker, who has been coming on, or Jones who has been fire. (I passed on starting A Boldin or N Washington this week). Whichever combo I choose, the guys on the bench will go off. Nelson has been in the lineup every week and so has White.I try to avoid having too many eggs in one basket.

Are you guys expecting 2 TDs every game?

I'm not sure I'm comfortable relying on end-zone production, especially vs the Texans.

Excellent point but what is your point total for GB? I think this will be fairly high scoring. Jennings is out, who scores the TDs today?
If rushing: Green. Rogers. Kuhn.If passing: Depends who I start. Since I am currently leaving Jones on the bench, Jones. Maybe Green. I really think Green could give the offense a spark again.

If I didn't have 3 stud WRs ahead of him I'd start him with confidence. I can't bench Calvin for him and he is the only one I'd consider out of my players. But I'm expecting another solid week from him. Better he blow up on my bench than against me.

Houston's pass D is decent, but they aren't exactly shutting out decent teams:

Miami (bad passing offense, week 1)

Jacksonville (bad passing offense, week 2)

Denver (Decker lead 136 yards, Denver had 316 yards through the air, week 3)

Tennessee (bad passing offense, they let CJ2K ground pound it, week 4)

NJY (bad passing offense, week 5)

I'm liking Jones today and I think his odds of TD are decent, he will definetly be locked into in the redzone.

Also, Finley is limited and probably won't play. Jennings won't play. Their RB situation is in shambles. Don't bench him.

I like JJ this week. In the end I think he is staying on my bench, but only because I like Desean Jackson and Leshoure better and am going with those two. So for all of your playing Jones, feel good. He will blow up on my bench.
