He had a pretty good game on Sunday. Is he a top-5 TE the rest of the year with Kitna at QB? Better, worse? Dallas still isn't running the ball -- it's clearly a pass first, second, and third offense.
With all the TE injuries and his last 2 games he's moved into the #2 TE spot in our ppr league. As long as Kitna is QB I wouldn't expect that to change much.
Gates TD numbers separate him from the pack. He has an othwerwordly 9 TDs through 8 games. Insane. But after that given the injuries to Clark, Finley, Zach Miller, and Vernon Davis, I suppose I wouldnt have anyone other than Witten after Gates.ETA: basically what CE said.
Austin, Dez and Witten all stand to benefit. Roy Williams is the odd man out. Witten will have the most consistency. Dez will have the highest ceiling. Austin will still be solid but like all WR1 he will face double coverage and the opponent's top CBs.
