As rumor has it, Raiders owner Al Davis thinks that receiver Javon Walker is the key to the team’s 2008 season.
If that’s the case, it might be time to start making plans for the first overall pick in the 2009 draft.
Walker, who has a bad knee that traces to a torn ACL in 2005, was found unconscious on a Las Vegas street on Monday morning, according to FOX 5.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, and is in fair condition with a fracture to an orbital bone.
Per media reports, Walker was seen on Saturday night spraying the crowd at Tryst night club with some of the 15 bottles of Dom Perignon champagne he had ordered.

He got jumped after leaving the Hard Rock Hotel after the club. Rumor is he was jumped walking alone on Koval Ln. Never like to hear that though. Hope he is OK.

They'll pick it up. This is a guy who was picked up, probably taken to the hospital immediately and has remained there I'd assume. He hasn't been conscious for some of that time, and if his wallet was taken they may not have even known who he was until later in the day. He may have needed surgery on the fracture, etc., etc., and that doesn't even get into the medical privacy issues. It takes time for someone to drop a dime from the hospital or police station to their contact at the local news station to get this out, and then the news people have to do their due diligence to confirm facts. It's just the way it works. As I said above, I wouldn't expect anyone other than a local sports reporter to have a scoop on this. He's not Tiger Woods, and he wasn't in an NFL city during the NFL season.

Honestly, Javon is a great guy. I just said he's into Champagne and Bimbo's now not touchdowns. That doesnt make him a bad guy. Him going to the Raiders just makes him a rich fun guy.

Reports are he was partying like a fool. And half the time he is acting like one anyway, this cant stack up very well for a guy coming off serious injury.

could just be that he got robbed...athletes are always targets...probably had bling coming out of every crevice and some scumbags jumped him...this incident doesnt necessarily make him a bad guy, and the other incident with Darrent was supposedly Brandon Marshall's counsin's fault
