I still think this is a repeat of what Darrell Jackson owners went through in 2005. If you could do a search for all those threads about how long DJax would be out, how many people were keeping him and how he might look when he returned you'll see a lot of similarities with the Walker situation now. As it turned out, all of the DJax owners who held onto him (myself included) basically wasted a roster spot because he had one good game after returning and that was it. Maybe Walker will do better but having gone through the DJax situation once I'm not excited about doing it again with Walker. If you're in a larger league or have the roster room to spare, I think keeping Walker is worth it. But in smaller leagues and those with tight roster limits I'm not sure it's worth the risk if there are productive players available on the WW.
