I didn't see the game so i'd love to hear what your thought on the MJD/Taylor for those that did manage to see it.

MJD averaged over 4 ypc, but he and Taylor combined for only 17 carries total in a close game. It seems like they should be getting more carries, and they looked unstoppable against (an admittedly porous) INDY def.

Few questions for you...

-Can MJD/Taylor be effective against a good defense?

-Are they a good 'buy low' candidate this week?

-How do they look in the games other than the INDY game?

IMO, opinion neither get enough carries to get any sort of rhythm whatsoever.

I got the pleasure of watching Jones Drew suck while I benched Larry Johnson...yah!!!

MJD got like nine touches today? Not a whole lot of RBs are going to do a whole lot with 7 carries.

The short of it is this:

It's hard for Fred Taylor to find any room to run with 8 and sometimes 9 in the box. Until the Jags force teams to respect anything other than the run, this will continue. That might not happen anytime soon.

It's different for Maurice Jones-Drew. It's hard to do anything from the ####### sideline. He's horrible underused.

Congratulations! You sat LJ verse one of the most porous run defenses. That said I'm going to buy low on Jones-Drew. It's really only a matter of time before he starts getting the rock more.
