I just can't see Al Davis letting Kiffin get away from Al's beloved vertical offense....and "Garcia" and "Vertical offense" are oil and water. If Al lets Kiffin run his O, maybe it works, but otherwise....

I disagree. The flip side is a couple of statue options in Bledsoe or Trent Green. They'd get killed without substantial improvement from the O line. The Raiders are going to need someone who can scramble somewhat and throw on the run.

Don't we hear this every time a new stooge is hired?The last guy I remember being allowed to implement "his" offense was Gruden.I hope for Raider fans Al has changed....but I wouldn't bet on it.

IF Al allows Kiffin to run his own offense, sure, I agree...Garcia is better suited to the role than the statues you mentioned. I believe its a bad fit because Al will never relinquish control. JMO. I'm a big Garcia fan, but he's gotta be in a WC-style offense to find success.
