Will he be held in to help with the blitzes or will he be releasing? The Jets safeties can't cover TE's, but they can bring the pressure.

Could be a sneaky play this weekend for those who need TE help.

I've been considering him all week. I do think he's a sneaky play and I think he will reward with a good game. I think he will have 6+ receptions and a touch.

It's him, Watson or Dave Thomas over Gates for me... I'm rolling with him and hoping for at least a TD.

starting him over Vernon...as a Jet fan I think the CBs shut down the WRs (benching TO myself) and Gresham gets a lot of action over the middle - plus I think Cincy will be playing catch up and throwing a lot....Gresham has had a good year for a rookie TE and I think he is the Bengal to start this week

I'm rolling with Pettigrew or Graham over this kid, but he's not a bad option. I'm not sure the Bengals will be in garbage time this week. Olsen is another quality TE option on many ww's.

Obviously you would still start a Tamme over him.. But where should he rank vs the Cooleys, the Winslows, the Dreesens, the Lewis', the Gonzalez's of the TE world? There just doesn't seem to be a reliable TE to start any more.

I am rolling the dice with Gresham over Heap. Figuring Ocho and TO would have their hands full with Revis and Cro leaving the CIN to have to work the middle. Worth a shot at this point.

Yeah, I'm even considering him over Cooley. It just seems like the perfect storm and Carson CAN still throw the ball.

This Bengals team has packed it in for the year. Players can't get themselves on the IR fast enough. I wouldn't be surprised to see them held to under 150 yards of total offense. The game has the potential to be an epic embarrassment. Their only hope is if the Jets forget they have a game tomorrow.

It did look to me like they were finally running some routes straight up the middle for him instead of taking him outside as they had been all year, but until they teach him to carry the ball properly he is going to be a fumble risk.

I wouldn't look for more than 4 catches from him for maybe 30 yards. Not bad when you consider the Bengals will possess the ball for maybe 22 minutes. Palmer will pick one receiver and stare him down for the whole game. If it is Gresham's week, that could be good, fantasy-wise. On the other hand, 1-2 of those targets will be TAINTS for the Jets D.

Am I a bitter season-ticket holder? Yes, but I've been watching Bengals teams quit for 20 years, and it's time to to load your fantasy matchups against them whenever possible from here out.

wow...as a Jet fan Ive been there....I still like Gresham better than the WRs...Jets have had troubles with TEs

Bengals will probably fall into their usual pattern of fall behind by 17 and then the offense wakes up and throws a bunch. Gresham should have a good game.

Sorry. Probably not funny. Gresham over Hernandez for the reasons debated in that thread. At this point in my season I need big points. This could be gresham's week.
