The Jerry Porter situation bears watching. Porter was a bystander at the second practice with what the training staff called a “calf strain'’ according to Shell.

“I think he had it during the offseason at one point,'’ Shell said. “That’s where we are with that.'’

Porter, in an interview with ANG columnist Monte Poole, conceded all was not perfect between himself and the organization but said he planned on contributing what he could for the final two years of his contract.

That's wonderful that's he's planning on contributing what he can after they overpaid for his ###.

He's the T.O. attitude without the All-Pro talent.

He'd have been great if he didn't have like 8 successive injuries in his breakout season. What good is a speed receiver that loses his speed?

the raiders have been shopping this guy from the second they acquired randy moss

too bad for the raiders that no other team wants him

Potential is a dirty, filthy word. Porter's had every excuse in the book as to why he hasn't been as productive as he should've been. I've been done drinking the JP Kool-Aid for a while now.
