Jets Assistant Coaches... (1 Viewer)

So to put this in perspective, my season tickets at Gillette Stadium are in Section CL 13, which is directly below the opposing team's coaches box. As you exit the stadium, we walk right by the coaches box.I understand all the trash talking/vitriol leading up to this game and I give the Jets all the credit in the world. They did what no one thought they would do and walked the talk. After Greene scored the late game TD, lots of folks from my section began leaving. As they are ascending the stairs to exit, there are the Jets assistant coaches flipping off the fans as they are walking by the coaches box.One guy, who was with his 9 year old son, was absolutely livid.Understand emotion runs not only through players, but coaches as well. But they need to keep it in check, somewhat, no? :X
Are you saying those NE fans were well mannered and respectful to the Jets players and coaches throughout the game? That 9 year old kid probably learned a few new #### words sitting with drunk Pats fans behind the Jets bench after all that smack talk leading up to the game. If you want to be pissed at anyone, it should be the dad who took his kid to the game in THAT SECTION OF THE STADIUM. C'mon man!
I'm sure the Patriots fans were being nothing but respectful. Just because I was sitting quietly in my seats before the game and had a Patriots fan slap me in the back of the head, and then had another fan yell "**** you Revis!!" (I was wearing a Revis jersey) doesn't mean that there were loud and obnoxious fans anywhere else.
Guess it's safe to assume you must've provoked it

As an Eagles fan, I can say that I have had the "opportunity" to see fans say and do many things that I would deem inappropriate for children. It is unfortunate that alot of people that I know won't bring their kids to a game because of this. I understand that we are adults, and that it is probably just a couple random drunk people that would be putting the bad taste in people's mouth.

BUT, that is from a fan. I can see no reason that a coach of a professional team would have any reason to do this. Regardless of what any of the fans might have said, it shows a lack of class and professionalism.

It is easy to say that the Pats deserve it, but that isn't the arguement. Their are alot of teams and/or fans that might deserve it, but that doesn't mean that a coach should stoop to that level. This is just my opinion, but I think it is another example of what Rex Ryan and his antics allow in NY. If it was a fan, then it is a different story, but coaches should be held to a higher standard.
yeah,I agree... the coaches shouldn't put cash bounties on opposing QBs heads, like your man Buddy Ryan did when he was Eagles HC..I find it absolutely comical that an Eagles fan is on a soapbox talking about how players , coaches, fans should act...lol... :goodposting:  it cracks me up!! people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...didn't Philly burn to the ground the night the Phillies won the WS, because of drunken, immature fans ?

new rule: Philly sports fans should never be allowed to comment on the behavior of other team's coaches,players,fans..ever..
