I see this as a gold mine if Eric Smith is a full time player, I just don't know if that's going to happen, Abram Elam is also on the roster and put up some good numbers last year in some games. Who has the inside track on the job?

I know from Rovers (our resident Jets expert) that at one time Eric Smith was definately on the top of Mangini's list but I believe he got hurt and Coleman remained in as saftey but with him traded... I personally think that if Smith is healthy he would have the inside track - maybe Rovers will be able to chime in on this one.

Right now it's Elam and/or Smith... who wins? Rotation? The Jets don't even know yet... but my guess is a rotation barring any injuries. I would not be surprised to see the Jets pick up a vet for depth.... like a K Kennedy.
