If he's wearing the flower you may want to go with the capeI'd need the corsage, that's what really ties his look together. I'm more of a fake squirt flower on the lapel kinda guy.

I was considering going in with khakis, plaid button down and the blue lacostesYeah, so then you already know why you shouldn't show up in a suit and tie for the dispatch job
You could go with a bow tie and maybe Clark Kent glassesI'd need the corsage, that's what really ties his look together. I'm more of a fake squirt flower on the lapel kinda guy.
:X at the blue lacostesI was considering going in with khakis, plaid button down and the blue lacostes
Can't do that. I'd get escorted out. No one would recognize me with the glasses on.You could go with a bow tie and maybe Clark Kent glasses
That's what the orange lanyard (with the id and (all your) keys) is supposed to preventCan't do that. I'd get escorted out. No one would recognize me with the glasses on.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZELzn6207cYou're wearing tuxedos to a job that requires you clean bathrooms.
Every time I look down in the bowl after taking a dump it reminds me of you.
Blue Lacostes. Beautiful choice.I was considering going in with khakis, plaid button down and the blue lacostes
NoWhen will you guys consider these joke beaten to a pulp and let it go?
You will use it later.I'm here.
Jusging by the motley crew of other people waiting for interviews this is definitely a BS job. I feel like walking out but i will wait to at least hear this guys pitch out of curiousity.
Feel pretty bummed I spend 2 bills on this outfit.
I did not read that as a scam.Looks like it is a scam and commission based and you won't even see a paycheck for weeks.

I called the woman about the dispatcher position and I am meeting with her in the morning. It's $11k less than my previous position but it sounds like a lot less stress and more appropriate for me. Chances are I probably don't have the resume and experience to expect much more. Hopefully there is room for advancement.
Ill update tomorrow.
have you ever worked a job that was sales/commission driven as opposed to a salary/hourly wage? The insurance company just called me back for the third interview tomorrow. Said they were very impressed with me.
i asked about the commission pay structure and my base salary would only be $200 per week and the the rest is commission, advancement and bonuses.
im not sure what to do.
those reviews on line are troubling.
You know what to do. You said you don't want to work in sales, so don't work in sales. The insurance company just called me back for the third interview tomorrow. Said they were very impressed with me.

They misrepresent the job and sucker people in to something that may not be right for them.Your links.
No.have you ever worked a job that was sales/commission driven as opposed to a salary/hourly wage?
My gut is telling me to go with the dispatcher position because it suits my nature better. Less money but I will have far less stress. You know what to do. You said you don't want to work in sales, so don't work in sales.
Also, some of those reviews said people barely made any money for the first few months. Seems like that could be problematic in your current situation.
Did I miss something? Did the insurance company (or the logistics company) offer you a position? My gut is telling me to go with the dispatcher position because it suits my nature better. Less money but I will have far less stress.
I am scheduled to meet with the insurance company after meeting with the logistics company tomorrow. If I decide to go the dispatcher route I plan to call the insurance company and tell them that unfortunately I cannot consider it in my current situation and it's best for me to accept a position with a more reliable paycheck. I will ask if it's ok for me to contact them in the future if I am able to consider the position.
I haven't. From the conversation with the trucking company I'm pretty sure I have it. She told me based on my credentials and our phone interview she thinks I would be perfect but just wants to meet me in person.Did I miss something? Don't tell anyone no until you have an offer on the table.
Oooooooo ...so close.RokNRole said:I haven't. From the conversation with the trucking company I'm pretty sure I have it. She told me based on my credentials and our phone interview she thinks I would be perfect but just wants to meet me in person.

Closer than even your sack is to the toilet water when your Metamucil kicks inOooooooo ...so close.
Take the conservative approach and assume you have no offer. If a company has two or three applicants that my be a good fit, they are going to say things to keep all three engaged. It's ok to be optimistic, but keep all your bases covered.RokNRole said:I haven't. From the conversation with the trucking company I'm pretty sure I have it. Im meeting her first thing in the morning.
Ouch. You get awful touchy about your imaginary stories on here.Closer than even your sack is to the toilet water when your Metamucil kicks in

Being a dispatcher is by no means stress free. Neither is customer service manager. And from your persona here, the latter type of stress is probably not your cup of teaLooks like it is a scam and commission based and you won't even see a paycheck for weeks.

Seems like dealing with people and stress was the problem with the last job. So I say a perfect fit.If you are a good salesman then you can make good money with commission. If it doesn't come naturally for you, it may be a lot of stress. My mom was in such a job salary + commission. Even though she was very good, it was very stressful each month since her home wasn't paid off yet and she had a mortgage to keep up on, among other bills.
Thanks. Sorry to hijack Rok. Good luck man. This is the seller I bought from. They are in Dubai. So, it took a few months from beginning to end. You can have a local tailor measure you. I had my wife take the measurements. I would recommend that you measure twice a couple of days apart. Once you send the measurements, they will contact you if something looks out of the ordinary.
I went with a black material with red highlight stitching on the inside, also a subtle pattern to the liner. It works for everything from a job interview, to funerals, to weddings. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. There are a lot of options if you want to get fancy. I stuck with a pretty conservative look.
It's also a sales-position with a "product" that doesn't have much of a market. I'm sure some people can make money in this position, but my guess is that there is a ton of turnover and the company is hoping to get some kids in that will have family members eager to help them out by purchasing plans. Not a "scam" per se, but it's similar to these companies that sell knives or dishware, etc.If you are a good salesman then you can make good money with commission. If it doesn't come naturally for you, it may be a lot of stress. My mom was in such a job salary + commission. Thank you.Congrats on the job and gl with the pee.
If I had a nickel every time I heard thatThank you.
Can I borrow some clean pee pee?
A buddy of mine that was in the army reserves swore by a shot of vinegar the night before and the day of the piss test. I have no idea if it works and my guess is drinking vinegar is not pleasant.I got the dispatcher/driver position. I cancelled the 3rd interview with the insurance company.
My concern now is passing the DOT urine screen which will probably be Friday. I have not smoked in 15 days and I just bought a home dug screen which I barely passed. I have posted the results and the brand below.
http://imgur.com/a/hw11K
As you can see there is a faint red mark on the test line which according to the instructions any intensity of the line can be considered a pass. Should I worry about the lab test on Friday? To be safe does anyone have any advice for passing?
I can dilute my wee wee the day of the test and take a heavy dose of organic liquid vitamins before going to add the color back to my urine. I didn't dilute myself for the home test. Will this be enough or should I go to a supplement store for an herbal flush? Which brands are reliable?
Before several people bring it up.....no I am not going to continue smoking while working as a CDL driver. I am not the idiot many think I am. If I can get past this screen I'll continue on the straight and narrow.
I'll pay a little more than a nickelIf I had a nickel every time I heard that
Was this to pass his test to get in the army?A buddy of mine that was in the army reserves swore by a shot of vinegar the night before and the day of the piss test. I have no idea if it works and my guess is drinking vinegar is not pleasant.
