Actually, I read that the new OC simplified the playbook for Brooks, which now also emphasized the running game, which should mean closer games, which means less garbage TDs...which means probably a little less for Horn. I of course still think he's a stud, but Stallworth has to break in at some point...perhaps this is the year similar to Holt two years ago, when he ended better than Bruce?

Every time I open the newspaper, I start to think maybe you're right.
I have been pretty high on Horn for this year myself. I just did some quick research and came up with the following info.Last year, on the road: 46-606-5Last year, at home: 48-793-6Ok, pretty even so far. Here's more:Last year, on the road: 8 catches over 20 yards, only 1 over 40Last year, at home: 14 catches over 20 yards, and 3 over 40If Horn will essentially be playing a 16-game road record, this does not bode well especially if you get points for long tds. people were to him and his troops, everywhere he goes, telling me how people
shake their hands, and thank them for being willing to serve, and fight, for
not only our own freedoms but so that others may have them also.
But he also told me about an incident in the grocery store he
stopped at yesterday, on his way home from the base. He said that
ahead of several people in front of him stood a woman dressed in a burkha.
He said when she got to the cashier she loudly remarked about the U.S.
flag lapel pin the cashier wore on her smock. The cashier reached up
and touched the pin and said proudly," Yes, I always wear it and
probably always will."
The woman in the burkha then asked the cashier when she was going to
stop bombing her countrymen, explaining that she was Iraqi. A gentleman
standing behind my son stepped forward, putting his arm around my son's
shoulders, and nodding towards my son, said in a calm and gentle voice
to the Iraqi woman: "Lady, hundreds of thousands of men and women like
this young man have fought and died so that YOU could stand here in MY
country and accuse a check-out cashier of bombing YOUR countrymen. It is
my belief that had you been this outspoken in YOUR own country, we
wouldn't need to be there today. But, hey, if you have now learned
how to speak out so loudly and clearly, I'll gladly buy you a ticket
and pay your way back to Iraq so you can straighten out the mess in YOUR
country that you are obviously here in MY country to avoid."

Let's get this back on track here. According to the splits above, on the road as opposed to at home, Horn experienced a drop-off of 24% in yardage and 16% in TDs. Since this is likely due to the fact that at home, the Saints play on turf, which emphasizes speed and offensive firepower - what effect will playing 0 games in the Superdome have on his numbers? I imagine taking 300 yards and 2 TDs off his pre-Katrina projections might not be too drastic at all.....
Every year a lot of us doubt Horn and pass on him come draft day, and he always puts up the numbers to make him one of the best WR in football.I should of known better than to have the War money line in my opening statement...It wasent an anti-war or anti-Bush line, I think most of the money we spend out of the country on dumb #### is just goofy when we have lots of issues here, and my god the New Orleans thing is bad!!

As I sat in my room at the Hilton Riverside, New Orleans, on Saturday two days before Katrina was scheduled to directly hit New Orleans, I weeped while I phoned home to North Carolina, to speak with my mother and my children. It had been confirmed that my flight was canceled along with that of my husband and 50 others. We all were frantically trying to evacuate. I sobbed as I was told by each rental car company that there were no cars available. I thought I was trapped. But, unbeknownst to me my mother had placed a call to Joe Horn to see if he could help. I hadn't spoken to him in over 20 years. Joe was a friend of my sister's in high school and had always kept in touch with my mother. This wonderful man personally came to pick up my husband and I and arranged for his driver to drive us from New Orleans to Atlanta, Georgia, at his expense, at which point we could fly on to Fayetteville, North Carolina. I'm still amazed at his generosity and I will always be grateful to him. There is truly a saint in New Orleans!! Thank you, Joe Horn. You're my hero!!
