I haven't seen that many St. Louis preseason games and was wondering about these two. What's you opinion about the TE situation in St. Louis? Who is the better candidate for Dynasty?

Here are their preseason recieving stats per NFL.com:

Code:
Player	No	Yds	Avg	Long	TDJoe Klopfenstein	2	25	12.5	14	0Dominique Byrd	3	24	8.0	18	0
As you can see, the stats compare pretty well, although both are low. TE position worth anything in St. Louis?

byrd was third string after aaron walker last i heard... maybe he could improve on that during season, but there must be higher upside TEs for redraft... byrd has more value in dynasty (relative to his value in redraft, not relative to value of klopfenstein in dynasty), but unclear how much if klopfenstein remains TE1 as expected... maybe if they go to two TE set a lot...

because klopfenstein a rookie, hard to project him... seems a hard position to excel at, unlike RB of LB...

imo 30 receptions close to floor & ceiling might be in 50 range... TDs maybe 3-5 in 06...

linehan will involve TE in offense more (used wiggins & mcmichael a lot as OC of MIN & MIA), so depending how quickly klopfenstein catches on, he could potentially help if you draft a TE2 late... he might be more productive in second half of season once he gets more experience...

what he said . . . Klop might be worth a late pick . . . don't waste your time with Byrd . . .
