Joe T's Fantasy Football League- Joe T will pay all winners! (1 Viewer)

ADP may say some of my WRs are reaches, but Decker and Jennings are seriously undervalued this year. Decker put up good numbers with that clown Tebow, and now he'll get MORE targets as the clear #1 option. Just stay healthy, buddy.

Jennings wasn't half bad last year in a pitiful offense and showed life once Ponder was out of there. Far better picks than Benjamin, Riley Cooper, Tavon Austin, R Randle, etc.
Well, you're a former champion, and I'm not, but I think you have to take some chances to win. Picks like Benjamin, Austin, and Randle aren't going to cost you the fantasy playoffs if they suck, because you can always find steady low end guys to replace them, even in this league. But if they live up to potential, they offer rewards you can never get out of a Jennings or Boldin, IMO.
Boldin doesn't have the upside with Crabtree back, but Jennings has just as much upside, if not more, than Benjamin, Austin, or Randle. None of those three are putting up 1100 and 8.

Exactly! Swing for the fence...

I love the Gordon pick. Top 10 WR if he plays, replace with waiver wire if he doesn't. At this point, there are only 3 or 4 WRs left that I'd want in my lineup on a weekly basis anyway.

Benjamin has a shot. Heck I doubt fitz or Andre put up that...

How can he play? I think the best case he is trying for is to get it down to 6 game suspension. If he already had a couple of starting WRs it might make some sense. But he has nothing.

Read plenty that he could beat the drug test, which then = 0 games. It's an all or nothing - he passed or he didn't. According to Ohio state law, he passed, but not according to NFL's methods.

Now, will he get something for the DWI? I'm sure. But how hard will the NFL come down in light of the weak Ray Rice suspension? Sure, repeat offender, but it wouldn't be an automatic suspension. Gordon worth the gamble at this point.

Cool. Enjoy Hopkins and Jennings sitting on your bench or as bye-week fillers as you roll out Eli Manning and Mercedes Lewis at QB/TE every week.

Can't believe I drafted this ####### Trojan- guy pissed me off so much. And there's reports from Jacksonville that he's already flaking, which doesn't surprise me.

But- kids got talent, and the opportunity to be the WR1. Wouldn't surprise me if he leads rookies in receptions.

Tim might have taken the lead for worst pick of the draft so far. Can someone with ADP knowledge confirm this?
Nope. Lee's ADP is 104.6. Timmah took him at 106. +1.4 value.ETA - Greg Jennings was a -37 value based on ADP where he was picked.

Benjamin was a -16.

My Terrance Williams pick was a -20.

Both Roddy and Emanuel Sanders were -20s.

I think, aside from Benjamin, the Jennings, Williams, White and Sanders picks are the worst value vs. ADP. Though, most WRs are in the 0 to -10 range vs. ADP based on our league rules I assume.

Screw adp! Get the guy you want. Obviously Tim didn't think Lee would make it back to him so he got him. Good for you...lol

Peens, I'll wager you $100 that Benjamin is out-performed by at least 5 wrs on the board when you selected him
That's a dumb bet. I guarantee 5 wrs will outscore Fitz or Andre after they were picked. Duh!!You guys are too caught with adp you friggin nerds!! sometimes you have to get "your guy" a bit early if you don't think he will make it back to you. So I'm fine with getting my guy a bit early.

Don't bother giving me that crap about Benjamin would have made it back to me at 6.13 tho. I know that's a crock of crap!

In the NFL, there are few coincidences, big or otherwise.

And the cynical view in the wake of the leak from the league office to Mark Maske of the Washington Post that the NFL will be beefing up the penalties for future domestic violence cases is that the league hopes to take some of the sting out of the looming decision to suspend Browns receiver Josh Gordon for a full year.

Applied as written, Gordons suspension becomes a no-brainer. He tested positive while in Stage III of the program, which compels a full-year suspension, and nothing less. With NFL executive V.P. of labor relations Harold Henderson handling Gordons appeal and with the broader push and pull of the collective bargaining process Henderson supervises always hovering over every decision made, the league has no reason to do anything other than apply the policy as written.

Fully aware that the media and plenty of fans will point to the discrepancy between Gordons full-year ban and the two-game suspension imposed on Ray Rice for assaulting his then-fiancée, the only way to deflect attention regarding the comparison between the two cases would be to send the message that, in future cases like Rices, the punishment will be three times greater.

If Josh Gordon will indeed be suspended for a full year, the NFL owes it to the Browns and to Gordon to implement the decision now, so that Gordon can start the 365-day clock ticking on his return. Chances are the league plans to wait a couple more days, until roughly 4:59 p.m. ET.

What ADP universe has Lee at 104? One that averages in rookie drafts or dynasty startups, I guarantee you.

Mock draft calculator for redraft leagues with PPR:

Lee = 167

Jennings = 146

Benjamin = 112

I'll concede some reach on Jennings, but with our WR heavy draft, couldn't trust him coming back 19 picks later and he's last WR on my board before a drop-off.

Exactly!! WR crazed drafts like this you have to take a chance on a guy. With 16 teams there is too long a wait before you pick again....
