I thought Waivers ran the tues/wed after the last preseason game and you could pick up FAs anytime till week 1 kickoff; at least from previous seasons.

Only waivers we have had after my other drafts were the following couple days, then it was all FAs until season started

There's nothing to fix. If you don't have a kicker you have to acquire one before week one.
