Mister CIA's tips for a successful redraft:

Don't milk the clock:

  1. Lack of preparation is no excuse for delaying your decision
  2. Trading is great and wonderful but don't hold everyone up while you step through the white pages looking for a trading partner
  3. Make your pick, then eat.
If you got something going on (like a baseball game, work, etc), just tell everyone and tell us when you should make your pick. Dudes will abide.

If the guy picking ahead of you times out, chill out. Maybe something unexpected occurred and he's to be a few hours late. Don't hastily skip a player and leave them with a #### team. Related, if we are on a one hour clock, drafters can be caught off-guard. If 8 or 9 owners pick in quick succession, don't assume the 10th guy is inattentive. "Be aware" is the takeaway here I guess.

Just finishing up a dynasty draft where one guy never picks at his spot, always looking to trade back and always held the draft hostage. I wanted to choke that dude! <_<

hey guys sorry - been having some health issues (friggin back) and been out of commission. just rolled an 852 :ptts:

Draft Order:

Larry Allen flap-icon the ref Greggity Raider Nation cosjobs Unlucky jon_mx East Coast Bias timschochet pumpnik phrozen rikishi boy Bonzai Mister CIA Getzlaf15

Do we really need a new thread for the draft? I'm not going to update the first post with picks.

Important things: League site, with 2 new guys in and draft order set: http://www8.myfantasyleague.com/2014/home/33199#0

Seems like Larry can start picking "off the clock" anytime now.

Please enlarge your picks so it's easier to follow along here. For example:

1.01 Unlucky - CJ Spiller, RB, BUF

I keep unusual hours, as many of you recall from last year. I usually sleep from 6am-2pm, EST. But [icon] already has my cell # and I will also PM it to cos, who picks behind me in the draft order. (Ref is two spots before me and he's got my number as well). Text me when I'm on the clock during those hours. A brief rundown of the last few selections would also be appreciated.

This way it won't be me holding everyone up.

We can keep this thread but I can't monitor it. No updating the 1st post or title, just too busy. If anybody else wants to start a new thread and update the OP, that would be better. Up to you guys.

I may be able to do it. I'll update it in Post #20 on page 1.

Then you can repeatedly copy and paste the list to Post #1 at your convenience.

Preeetty sure we are taking one of the two guys left after Larry's pick. Pack it in fellas. We are already declaring victory.
