Joe T's Fantasy Football League- Joe T will pay all winners! (1 Viewer)

Reggie Wayne had a surprise visitor during his media session Tuesday at Anderson University. And Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano just couldn't resist asking his wide receiver a few questions.

For starters, "Have you forgot how to play the game, Reggie?"

Wayne smiled and answered quickly.

"I have not forgotten how to play," he said. "It's been some months, been since October. I'm excited about this opportunity to be back out here with my teammates. After you have been playing since you were seven years old, I don't think you can forget."

"Is it like riding a bike?" Pagano asked.

"I think it's even easier than riding a bike," Wayne said. "I have probably played football more than I have ridden a bike the last nine years of my life. It's easier. It's like waking up and brushing your teeth."

Members of the national media who have visited training camp at Anderson University over the past three weeks have marveled at Wayne's progress after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament some 10 months ago.

Normal 35-year-olds don't shrug off such a major injury and bounce back less than a year later as good as new. But, as Colts quarterback Andrew Luck reminded anyone within earshot throughout the offseason, Wayne is no normal 35-year-old.

The wide receiver appears to have few, if any, limitations. He's Luck's primary target on the days he practices, and he added two more touchdown receptions to his camp total during Tuesday's full-padded session.

That ADP doesn't reflect the WR heavy nature of this league.

I'm all in on Brandin Cooks. I think Payton/Brees will go deep into this well beginning week 1.

Wait, the only RB I picked was McCoy. How is that the worst RB crop of any team?

Those numbers mean about as much as our "chances of making the playoffs with good team management."

A lot of this crap is highly unpredictable. That's why it's fun.

Not saying you have the worst RB crop.. I merely posted draft price paid relative to ADP. I presume once you pick another RB, he will be at value, and your number will increase. However as of now you've "overpaid" for shady by 1 pick slot relative to ADP.

I've never suggested these are predictive of quality of team... just a fun exercise during a lull in the draft to see who's picking up "value" relative to ADP, and who might be "reaching" more based on the same metric.

We have an uncommon scoring system. I'm not sure how accurate that ADP data is.

Looking at my #1 ranking on the list one would think I had amazing wr's. But I only have Crabtree and Tate....maybe it's a sign for what's to come. :)

All WRs / RBs are relative to each other... and PPR isn't THAT crazy (esp when ADP data is for PPR leagues). The only "oddity" is the half PPR for RB.

Not saying it's balls on... but its decent data.

The oddity is that it's a PPR league and you only have to start 1 RB, and you can start 4 WRs. I play in two dynasty leagues with simliar settings and 8-9 years later people still don't get it.

And this roster composition affects WR values relative to each other, how again? ;)

Well yeah, but quit ####in with my synapses.

I will be ####ed up like a box of coathangers on Friday night for the annual True Temper / Project X company fantasy league.

Lot of executives who don't get away from their wives often... Everyone gets hotel rooms downtown (used to be in tunica at the casinos) and it's a pretty big #### show.

We'll likely leave drafting duty solely on the shoulders of co-FFwiz flap.

Cos hasn't drafted a wr yet?
It's as if a baton has been passed, Tim-Unlucky-Cos
Cos has something like 4 of the next 12 picks thanks to Peenes dropping his pants for a 9th round WR. I expect him to round out his WR corps shortly... guessing he takes 3 WRs in that stretch
Benjamin at 5.6 in a 16 team league is like an 8th round pick. For Christ's sake, the wrs drafted after Benjamin was junk like Dwayne frigging bowe!! I'd hate to think of the guy I'd be picking at 6.13 if that sorry sob couldn't even make it to me...

Two hours up.

Unlucky can pick
Clock is off for the night.
Not for three more minutes and johnymex has already burned 2 hrs
you're off an hour
CT baby
yep..and it was midnight ET when you posted...
Don't. Really care, but two hours had passed before the 11pm cutoff. Don't think its fair to selectively enforce.

Don't wake up early, guys. I'm on Mountain time, and I'm going to sleep in and use my full 2 hours if jon_mx even picks, so don't expect my pick until 10:59 AM ET. Seriously, I'm setting my alarm just to wake up to make a damn pick in this league. Good night.

It was a great pick there. I just thought a few picks before a 30-year old Colston was a better gamble than a 35-year old Wayne, which were the two I was debating. Both capable to top 10 numbers, but it is extremely rare a 35-year old WR does it. Maybe 3 have done it. But Wayne is one of the greats.
