Am I missing something here? Dreessen was running routes while Daniels was blocking the whole game.. Andre Johnson AND Jacoby Jones might not play this week against a poor Giants secondary. I know that Foster is a beast but who else is Schaub going to throw the ball. I have him on my waiver wire above guys like Pettrigrew and Celek. Dodds has him ranked all the way down at #25 in PPR..

The guys had 10 targets, 5 receptions, 70 yds and a td last week.. Is it simply because there is a chance Daniels will used as more of a receiving threat? He's been banged up and I don't really see Kubiak going back to him right now.

Anyone else think Dreessen is very underrated and is a great option as a bye-week fill in or am I missing something?

Not on anybody's radar. He's averaged 9 targets the last two weeks. If Daniels continues to be hurt, he could be this years Daniels. I dropped Daniels for him.

Dreessen is a much better athlete than people think. There wasn't a lot to go on so I watched him closely this week. The dude can flat out play. And we all know what the top TE in Houston can do.

I still like Daniels, but if he doesn't get back to 100% or the Texans don't re-sign him, Dreessen is a fantastic sleeper. He's basically a clone of Daniels.

BTW, I know a lot of people liked James Casey coming out, but he hasn't progressed as hoped. Dreessen is simply a much better player right now & looks to be the heir apparent to Daniels should OD not fully recover or leave via FA.
