One of the lawyers on this forum posted the other day about wanting Trump's family to all get coronavirus and suffer the consequences.

I'm guessing this was the same episode...  SNL is really coming off as shameful.

A black pastor condemned a “Saturday Night Live” comedian’s sketch about President Donald Trump and black leaders as “racist commentary disguised as humor.”

Pastor Marc Little spoke out after “SNL” cast member Chris Redd mocked a group of black leaders who visited the White House Feb. 27 and prayed over Trump.

The group included former Turning Point USA activist Candace Owens, former presidential candidate Herman Cain, video bloggers and Trump supporters Diamond & Silk, pastor Darrell Scott, and Surgeon General Jerome Adams.

“Look at these White House Negroes,” Redd said. “Who are you all praying to? The ghost of blackface past?”

Redd also said that “Trump has got his eyes open during a prayer like he’s trying to remember which pocket he put his wallet in,” and added: “He’s sitting there looking like the basketball from ‘Space Jam,’ just sucking all the blackness out of them. Does this look like black history to you?”

Little responded to Redd’s comments in a statement provided to The Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Chris Redd and ‘Saturday Night Live’ don’t get to determine who is black,” Little said. “There’s nothing funny about a racist commentary disguised as humor.”

“Pastors like me stand in front of millions of black Americans every Sunday,” Little added. “We work with families who share the same concerns as any other American: what schools our children attend and how much we pay for our gas and groceries.”

“We stand for Christ over color,” he said. “We stand against bigoted liberals who believe it’s wrong for others to pray for the president of the United States. They will not dictate who is deserving of prayer. God has already defined that.”

Little emphasized that black conservatives will not be bullied by “liberal elites.”

Bozeman is just spreading fake news again.

Ditkaless Wonders made a post in which he suggested that Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr might want to consider visiting treatment facilities. At no point did he say that he "wanted" them to catch any disease or suffer.

But, as we have seen with the John Mulaney situation, it's less about what you actually say, and more about what other people think that you said. And if that vocal minority makes enough noise (or clicks enough "Report" buttons), then the backlash will be swift and harsh...but hopefully not lasting longer than 7 days.

He wrote: "I disagree, respectfully, of course.  I believe Ivanka and Donald Junior ought to be the point of the spear on this.  They ought to visit as many sick and infected persons and treatment facilities as possible to learn all they can.  They ought to be put in direct contact with these folks, exposed to the facts, as it were.  Then they should report back to their dad, in person.  Donald should then embrace and kiss his daughter to thank her for her service."

That was way out of line and way out of character for him. It's along the same line as what Trump was correctly criticized for saying he wanted Obama to personally visit people sick with Ebola.

Trump's awful tweet was used an example of someone saying it was acceptable for people to comment on "how the President should die various types of horrible death."
