They actually had Clapp, Super Joe McEwing, and Bo Hart in minor league training camp to see if they could pitch.Clapp couldn't reach the plate, McEwing's slider slid off his fingers and hit a fan in attendence, and Hart was excused when he got confused with his YMCA Softball league and started pitching underhanded.
