This begs the question: If McCown gets hurt again, does Kiffin put Culpepper back in there, or does he turn the reins over to Russell? I'm sure Russell isn't ready yet, but how much worse could he be at this point?

With the benching, they've already decided that Culpepper won't be around next year. So who cares if Kiffin puts him back in the lineup? It's the same thing with Harrington in Atlanta -- once the season has been TFP'd, you can't things worse by shuffling the lineup.
