Julian Edelman Fantasy Savior? (1 Viewer)

Doubtful

Julian Edelman (foot) is listed as doubtful for Week 15 against the Titans.
Edelman has resumed practicing on a limited basis, but he's not quite ready for game action yet. That may change ahead of next week's division battle with the Jets. Expect Danny Amendola to draw another 8-12 targets in Edelman's absence versus Tennessee. Rob Gronkowski remains a good bet to spike.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports there's a "good chance" Julian Edelman (foot) returns for Week 17 in order to get "acclimated" for the playoffs.

Rotoworld:

This does fantasy owners zero good, as the fantasy playoffs wrap up next week in the vast majority of leagues. But for the real-life Patriots, Edelman's return is huge for a title run. Danny Amendola will continue to handle slot duties with Edelman sidelined, so he can be trusted the next two games.

Can't believ no one has commented on this. So, lads, in PPR are you rolling with versus the "No fly zone"?
Thinking about sitting him for JJ Nelson. Tough call but will he still get a lot of targets? I think NE runs the ball all day. The hoody attacks the other teams weakness and exploits it. I think Brady passes only when needed to and to top that off Edelman didn't look all that good last week. Dropping three passes and stopping on one route. If he wasn't peppered with targets all night he would have had a bad game. Think I'm swinging for the fences with Nelson.

I have same situation. They both play late afternoon so I might asses where I am. Already p,aged Ajayi and have no choice but to play Luck over Mariota and Smith in sub zero weather.

Looks like a torn ACL.

Sucks.  I think he was in for an exceptional year with Cooks in there to give them a long ball threat.  Was looking forward to seeing that offense in full gear.
