I have seen Joe mention in his emails to sell JJ. I just wanted to state my case on the other side of the argument.

Parcells has stated he was very happy with Jones performance to date.

He has a targer of 18-20 carries per game. This should be an adequate amount of carries to realize solid (not spectalur) fantasy points.

Also, take a look at his upcoming opponets.

Titans - 29th against the run

Eagles - 10th against the run

Houston - 22th against the run

NY Giants - 12th against the run (after playing philly and indy)

Carolina - 31st against the run

Washington - JJ ran for 94 yards

Arizona - 21st against the run

Colts - 27th against the run

Tampa bay - 32nd against the run

I see no reason to "sell".

Maybe it's because Parcell's has some serious man love for Barber III. He has already admitted to giving Julies too many carries and it's only week 2. This tell's me he's worried about JJ getting hurt. JJ will get hurt sooner rather than later. That's what they mean when they say "sell" JJ.http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...NFL&id=3215

Right...but your missing the big picture. He Wants JJ at 18-20 (No decrease to so far this year)

MB3 to get 6-8 touches

TT to get 1-2 touches

i traded reuben droughns to get him. 15-20 carries and a couple of passes thrown his way is all I'm looking for

Based on the comments from Parcells this week it sounds like he wants Jones more in the 16-18 range and Barber at 8-9 combined with his third-down and goal-line roles. I'm a Barber owner but I believe Jones is by far the superior RB. But there are a number of red flags -- the majority of them coming from Parcells -- which caused me in the pre-season to steer clear of JJ unless he represented great value (which didn't happen in my draft).

I have JJ and Barber in a PPR league. What kills JJ for me is his role on 3rd downs and goalline. It's not so much the amount of touches that worry me but where/when he gets them.
