I always "forget." For years I have thrown the notice away. I get one every 2 years. If I am every called on it, which after 20 years I'd be surprised, I could always say it must have accidentally went to the trash as do most of the junk in the post box. If they ever make it so it's certified mail then I'll comply.
You're a great American.
I am. You wouldn't want me on a jury if you were the defendant. So I'm doing us all a favor and saving everyone time in having me go in only to dismiss me.
As somebody who often depends on the objectivity and honesty of jurors to decide the fate of my client, CurlyNight is absolutely spot on here. While it's definitely

to hear a citizen trying to skirt jury duty - from a legal perspective we don't want that person anyway. Heck, given CurlyNight's comments in the Jodi Arias thread, she'd definitely be somebody I would not ever want anywhere near a jury since there'd be about a zero percent chance of her being fair and impartial. So, she's not wrong here: she's doing the system a huge favor here by exercising her self-awareness and, possibly, saving a defense attorney a strike.
Want to know the worst jurors ever? The ones with beliefs akin to CurlyNight's, but who show up and essentially sandbag jury selection by not disclosing a damn thing about themselves to let the parties know that they have biases or, worse yet, agendas and wind up getting on. #### those clowns.
