Chicago murders have actually been on the decline since the early 90s.  The vast majority of the annual murder totals during this stretch are lower than any point going back to the mid 60s.

When you have more of your people dying in the streets of one US city than you do from a 13 year old war....you might have a problem.....Good job addressing that Obama...I guess he did in a way...By blaming the police...

Average number of murders per year in Chicago, 2001-2008: 551
Average number of murders per year in Chicago, 2009-2016: 497

U.S. military combat deaths, 2001-2008: 4852
U.S. military combat deaths, 2009-2016: 2054

During the Obama administration, not only were our soldiers safer than they'd been the previous 8 years, but the people of Chicago were safer as well.

Obama pulled the combat troops out of Iraq, thus saving hundreds if not thousands of lives.  And your hero GW Bush invaded Iraq under false pretenses, thus costing 4500 American lives with more than 31k more wounded for no reason whatsoever.  He sent those troops to their deaths, so I'm sorry you don't understand the difference between that and those murdered on the streets of Chicago.  I mean REALLY SORRY.

I find it funny he takes a complex societal problem (murder rate) that plagues this entire country that nobody has a definitive answer to and compares it to the entirely preventable death toll in Iraq that was created by his lovechild **** Cheney.

It's so odd that Ditka Butkus and his buddies weren't congratulating Obama for Chicago's reduced murder rates in 2009-2014.

2014 saw the fewest number of murders in Chicago since 1965. Not that Ditka would want you to know that...

How is Trump going to help them?  Deport them?  Put them on a registry? Build a wall?

You people on the right are constantly complaining about being painted with a broad brush, then you say Obama just blames police for the struggles of minorities in this country.  It's false.
