I'm sure it's no biggie to all of you but for me it's huge! You see four months ago my wife had a sub arachnoid aneurysm. She was in a medically induced coma for 35 days. Due to the aneurysm she had four strokes. Since then she has been in theropy for the last three months. She has defied all odds, the doctors call her a miricle. Despite all of that she is walking talking laughing living! She only suffers short term memory loss which has been gradually improving. Today was the first time she's been home since January and of course I took advantage of the opportunity. Was awesome! She still is in inpatient rehab but will soon come home for good.

High fives for everyone!

So she's probably already forgotten about the sex.

Seriously, congrats best on her continued improvement.

This could be used to his advantage.

Moments like this make me think there's a very fine line between genius and dirtbag.

Nice.

Sometimes the procedures work out to your advantage. My buddy had aggressive prostate cancer, got the prostate removed. Is fine, money shot is now vapor so gets more hummers.

Awesome to hear! What a great feeling to know she's doing well.

"Honey, what are all those pages of different colored dots on the notepads on your nightstand, on the kitchen counter, outside on the deck and in the back of the Suburban?"

"Nothing babe. Glad you're feeling well."

:groundhogday:

Use this to your advantage.>Honey, can I have a BJ?

>Didn't I just give you one?

>No, that was last week.
Lol! I already tried the 'honey I can wait for you to get home so we can resume our daily hummers' she laughed and said you never got daily Hummers. I said before we got married I did! We laughed together.

You're married and this is the first time since January? What's so special about that? I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary.

P.S. -- Glad she's doing better :)

LOL. Great post. Thx. My wife is awesome. I was telling her the odds that the Dr already told me about today: 50% of the people dont make it to the hospital with her condition. Of the remaining 50% only 15% survive through the hospital. Of those remaining 15% only 7% will ever talk again. Please understand for you non math guys. every time the remaining folks go back to 100%. so when I say 50% make it to the hospital. Those remaining 50% become 100% for the next percentage. So what I am saying is my wife's survival is less then 1%. Yet she is and has been in beast mode and has kicked ###!!

whoa...

Incredible stuff- so happy it's worked out for you.... that's just amazing. (the getting laid part)

Congrats

P.S. Am I a bad person for thinking of this joke though?

A woman is in a coma, and the nurse tending to her notices that whenever she is sponge bathing the woman, the womans vital signs jump a little on all of the machines an screens. So the nurse calls the husband and says come down to the hospital, i think i know how to get your wife out of this coma. so the husband hurries down, and asks the nurse what he can do. The nurse says, i think that oral sex will bring her out of her coma, it will arrouse her enough to bring her out of the coma. so the nurse closes the cutains, and leaves the husband with his wife in the room. Moments later, the man comes running out of the room, flustered. The nurse, worried, asks him what happened. the husband says, I dont know, I think that she started choking.

When I read the thread title from my phone I thought it was going to be an Eminence thread.

Congrats!!!

great news.

if you don't mind me asking how did she figure out she had this issue? Did she just pass out one day?

No problem. She has family history of aneurysms and was complaining of headaches. She actually went to the Dr a month before it happened. They either did a CT or an MRI, im not sure and missed it. FF to January 8th. We both work from home. We were talking, she was behind me and she said, "Man my head hurts after going to the dentist." I asked what they did and she didnt respond. She then lightly called out my name. I got up and found her passed out on the floor. Called 911 and she was at the hospital within 40 minutes. Dr later told me that they were actually contemplating not doing anything because her bleed was already so severe. They gave her an MRI and told us that because of the location and the shape of the aneurysm there was nothing they could do. However over the course of the night, the bulge became deeper and they were able to coil it the next day.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

Thanks. Damn. I can't even imagine. Sounds like way less than 1/100 chance to me right there.
