Just joined a new league...HELP (1 Viewer)

SO I joined a new league and basically the jist of there scoring flaws are as follows...

1. 13 out of the Top 20 overall players were...kICKERS. Robbie Gould outscored P. Manning last year

2. The top Defenses outscored the top WR's

3. It is practically impossible to score points. L.Coles last year scored 6 td's and had 1098 yds and he only scored 36 fantasy points in their scoring system!

What should I do? Ditch it or deal with it and draft accordingly?

You should have known this going in. Learn and draft accordingly.

Use it to your advantage. Build up the hype on a couple of kickers and defenses and watch them get drafted early.

Follow the DEF by Committee article on the site here for your defense, and grab a kicker on a good offense late.

Jason Hanson is one who is always available late who is on a high scoring offense.

Let the other owners reach. Take what they give you.

I'm in a league similar to yours and it is amazing how the owners never seem to realize what they are doing wrong. It's more important in these types of leagues to draft sure things over sleepers imo.
