This year, there will be a lot of unproven talent hitting the field dressed in red. I'm curious about the impact The Chief's draft picks will have on LJ's numbers this season. Any thoughts?
I can't imagine anyone they drafted would hurt his production. LJ only went over a 100 yards 3 times in the half season he played due to injury. If anything I would think these improvements will boost his production as it gives the team some more weapons as last year all the teams had to do was figure out how to stop LJ. and with that OL, it wasn't that hard to do.
If I was a Chief or LJ fan, I would be more concerned about the QB position.
The biggest affect should be Albert. If they can find a place for him on that line early and not shift him around all year he should improve it a lot, regardless of which position he actually ends up playing. The addition of Dorsey and loss of Allen will cause some shifting of the D-Line, so a lot will depend on how quickly everyone can adjust. If Flowers and the D-Line can get into their new situations pretty well they should help the D a lot and get LJ more chances on offense. And yes, a lot depends on Croyle, who they are going to give a chance to show what he can do, hopefully with some protection.
