(TheHuddle) Jacksonville Jaguars WR Kassim Osgood suffered minor injuries after being pistol-whipped by an attacker and jumping out of a second-story window, reports Dan Scanlan, of The Florida Times-Union. Head coach Jack Del Rio said Osgood was fine physically as far as he knew and was aware of the incident. He was visiting a woman Monday, Sept. 27, when a man came in with a gun while they were watching television. The attacker dragged the woman around by her hair and pistol-whipped her and Osgood. Osgood escaped when the woman fled and the attacker followed her. The attacker and the woman shot at each other but missed then the attacker left and was arrested later.
Analysis: It's great to hear Osgood is OK and no one was seriously hurt. Tension is escalating in Jacksonville, where the Jags have lost 23 of their last 36 regular-season games. On a serious note, the gunman is being held without bond for felony battery, armed robbery, and false imprisonment.
I guess the moral of the story is that you shouldn't mess around with wimins who have crazy ex's.
