Sorry ...but LJ is a bit overrated. He's a god fantasy-wise. But let's recall how good Derrick Blaylock was behind that o-line. It was very obvious tonight... can't imagine LJ coming close to 90 yds with SF or Detroit... and likewise, can imagine similar output if Kevin Jones or Kevin Barlow was with KC. Period. Those with LJ really couldn't give a tinkers anyways...but I'm thinking if LJ goes down...I'd start Dee Brown in a heartbeat.
What would Tiki do behind the SF OL? What would Barry Sanders have done behind the Dallas OL that Emmitt got to run behind most of his career? It is an ambiguous and invalid argument because it could apply to anyone and everyone all at once. LJ is a good RB behind and good OL.
Tiki is a good RB behind a good OL. Alexander is a good RB behind a good OL. The list goes on and on and it has a polar opposite as well. Barlow looks like and average RB behind an average OL.
We all want to believe that the guy we're rooting for is the real deal and everyone we don't like is the product of someone else's greatness. Its human nature. I've got no man love for LJ any more than I do for Tiki. I think they are both successful due to there systems and personnel that surrounds them.
I will say that I saw LJ "breaking" more tackles and Tiki having defenders "missing" more tackles. But I'm willing to admit that I could be biased because I was pretty much rooting for KC once the refs started kissing NYG A** with those crap calls.
