So I am in a PPR keeper league. I have the first overall pick this year. We can keep one person and that keeper acts as that rounds pick. i have 2 options

Todd Gurley- Would be my 2nd round pick then

Mahomes- would be my 9th round pick

i am planning on taking McCaffrey first overall since Kamara and Barkley are being kept

Thoughts?

I'm in a similar league, keeping up to 3.  My approach is generally to look at the difference between the player's ADP and what it costs me to keep him. ADP rankings at one site I checked have Gurley at #13 overall, Mahomes at #19. 

Getting Mahomes for a 9th means get a 2nd-round quality QB and you STILL have a 2nd-round pick.  Assuming a 12-team snake, you could see RBs like Gordon, Damien Williams, Kerryon Johnson, Fournette, and Aaron Jones all still on the board.

That's my logic anyway.  Maybe I'm missing some big consideration, so anyone else feel free to poke holes.

This is easy. Mahomes. You aren’t gaining much ground with Gurley. Hell, he might even fall to there.
