Good reasoning....Id put him just slightly ahead of Cooks this week though...but a good option against SD for sure.1. Beckham
2. Cooks
For me its Beckham, Kelvin, Fitz...and yes, that MN D scares me with Beckham too.

The Rams have given up 9 catches 100 yards to Adam Humphries. 4 catches 99 yards to Tyler Lockett, 7 catches 61 yards to Jeremy Kerley. No way I sit this guy against that ATL D.
Last week was bad...very bad. Probably what cost me a win (though, Tevin Coleman pretty much sealed my fate)...and I get people have options...but its hard to imagine better options than a guy who was targeted that much the first 2 weeks...going against this coming D. While Id love putting Larry Fitzgerald in my lineup this week, there is no way I sit Kelvin.
Oh...I know just hard to bench Kelvin and Beckham (even with Fitz doing so well so far and getting all of those targets)Biabreakable said:The Rams have given up 9 catches 100 yards to Adam Humphries. 4 catches 99 yards to Tyler Lockett, 7 catches 61 yards to Jeremy Kerley.
While the Rams are not a plus match up as they could knock Palmer out of the game at any time, they have given up numbers to WR not as good as Fitzgerald.
It is a nice problem to have. Good luck with your decision. I know I often pick wrong when I have that many good options.Oh...I know just hard to bench Kelvin and Beckham (even with Fitz doing so well so far and getting all of those targets)
I could flex Fitz...but then be benching one of Ware, McCoy, or Forte. Im not quite sure what lineup I will go with...but right now leaning Fitz to sit.
Yeah...picked wrong last week with McCoy on my bench...and Kelvin's 0.It is a nice problem to have. Good luck with your decision. I know I often pick wrong when I have that many good options.

Trufant was on him all day, Benjamin couldn't shake him loose. There wasn't two plays that I thought he was ever actually open. Matchups matter. This had proceed with caution written all over it.I don't think matchups with Benjamin matter.
He did well Week 1 against the Broncos stellar secondary. And if you look at his NFL career so far, half of his TDs have come late in blowouts. He's a guy you just start every week and take the bad with the good.

Who is going to be throwing to him?Grahamburn said:This monster is going to murder Tampa's miniature corners this week.
He's actually a decent passer. There's some discussion I believe in this very thread.Who is going to be throwing to him?
Tampa got torched by Case Keenum. I wouldn't be surprised if KB scored 3 times against this pack of munchkins. He's actually a decent passer. There's some discussion I believe in this very thread.
I love KB's matchup this week against Hargreaves!

Cause carolina sucks the nutsack? How are we feeling about Benjamin moving forward. Anyone know why he hasn't scored in five weeks or so?
Because sCam is absolutely horrible at passing the football. The guy is a trainwreck as an NFL QB. If he couldn't run, he would be as useless as osWILDer.Gandalf said:How are we feeling about Benjamin moving forward. Anyone know why he hasn't scored in five weeks or so?
Well he's the leading receiver for one of the better QBs in the league so that's something too.He is big. Other than that, he has nothing going for him.
One of those guys people just don't like. Definitely a buy low.Well he's the leading receiver for one of the better QBs in the league so that's something too.
I think he's a decent buy low in dynasty. It's kind of interesting to me that people are super pumped about Stefon Diggs going for 903/3 in his 2nd year as a starter when his QB had a career year that he will probably regress from, while people are down on Benjamin for going 941/7 in his 2nd year as a starter when his QB had a down year and will probably bounce back with better passing numbers next year.
Olsen is the top target in Carolina. Newton is not one of the most prolific passing QBs in the league. Newton is in the middle to bottom third for accumulating passing stats. Kelvin was getting benched at points last year. The offense really struggled last year and KB holds a lot of responsibility for that.Well he's the leading receiver for one of the better QBs in the league so that's something too.

Benji owner here. Don't think he was ever fully healthy last year. Still recovering. Some games barely saw targets, probably because of his health. Was frustrating, because when he was involved, the Panthers offense as a whole was better. I also predict a bounce back.Benjamin killed me last year. Hot start and never got going after the first couple games. I'm staying away until he gives a reason to buy back in.
No he got benched because of effort and attitude more than once.Benji owner here. Don't think he was ever fully healthy last year. Still recovering. Not saying you're wrong, but I don't recall that. I do recall Rivera repeatedly saying they regretted rushing him back.No he got benched because of effort and attitude more than once.
Well for one Diggs only played in 13 games. For another he did it on 84 catches vs. Benjamin's 63. That's 21 more points in PPR. Diggs averaged 15.0 PPG to Benjamin's 12.3 in PPR.Well he's the leading receiver for one of the better QBs in the league so that's something too.

Benjamin was kinda a perfect storm of bad last year. He was recovering from injury and then suffered a regression when he faced tougher coverage and then got benched when he responded to adversity poorly. Not saying you're wrong, but I don't recall that. I feel like I have Deja vu! Time to trade this dude!
Updating a previous item, the Panthers have yet to exercise WR Kelvin Benjamin's fifth-year team option for 2018.
Back in March, GM Dave Gettleman said the team would pick up the option, but that was before Benjamin showed up to voluntary workouts a little pudgy, leading to coach Ron Rivera openly calling him out this past weekend for being a "little heavy." Benjamin wasn't his pre-injury self in 2016 and threw a fit on the sideline in one game. The Panthers are putting him on notice.

Panthers exercised WR Kelvin Benjamin's fifth-year team option for 2018.
GM Dave Gettleman said the team would pick up the option in March, but Benjamin complicated matters by showing up to offseason work a "little heavy" in the words of coach Ron Rivera. Guaranteed for injury only, the option does not ensure Benjamin will be back with the team in 2018, and he may have some hearts and minds to win back inside the organization coming off a down year.

Kelvin Benjamin has been getting "extra treatment" at Panthers workouts this offseason.
The Charlotte Observer took it as a euphemism for Benjamin trying to get in better shape. Speaking about the situation, coach Ron Rivera — who recently acknowledged Benjamin is "a little heavy" — said Benjamin has worked very hard "when he's been around." The hope now is that Benjamin takes better care of himself away from the team.

and now his one strength might actually be a negative. Hope everyone sold a long time ago.
